I am looking for a silver lining during my "recovery" - DH and I will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary on Sept 17 and we have been trying to figure out what we can do, he is out of work, so we have a very, very tight budget (the economy sucks, but you all know that too...lol). Anyways, my mom knows that money has been tight for us and she knows how that is (of course now they are doing really well), so she offered to send us on a mini-getaway for our anniversary. Well, we have been looking through her vacation company rentals to figure out what is close (within a 2 hour drive) and I have been so discouraged by some of the places. yesterday she called me and low and behold, Groupon Getaways had this great deal from a beautiful B&B about 45 minutes from our house in a cute little town, St. Michaels. She purchased the Groupon and we made reservations! I am so excited to be able to take a couple of days with DH, we truly need it after the year+ we have had (long story, that starts with other things, not TTC related). Anyways, I can't wait and have been unable to focus on work today, because I am trying to find restaurants, things to do, etc...lol! Anyone else have a big anniversary coming up?

Oh what fun to be able to get away to just relax and enjoy each other's company. My anniversary being married to DH is in the end of June. So we are in our 13th yr. We did go to dinner than night.

Congrats! That sounds like a wonderful vacay for your anniversary. DH and I just celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary August 8th Enjoy it and enjoy just spending time with one another!

Our anniversary was August 5th! We have a lot of August anniversary's in here Enjoy your trip. It sounds like a wonderful way to recharge a bit!

Thanks, ladies! DH and I are so lucky that we have family that is willing to help us out and that are able to, especially in this day and age (darn economy)! I will post a pic or two once we have gone, is it Sept 16th yet...lol!
