went for another follie scan this morning..... follies are still too small had to cancel ob's app for tomorrow. have to go in for another scan at hospital on Saturday

only two of the three follies grew a bit one of them remained 0.8

Emailed ob and he wants me to keep on using Follistim for now

Are they upping your dose? Try not to worry to much, sometimes they are slow to start then catch up.

nope. just timed intercourse. When we go in for the app I'm going to ask about IUI. This is something in there is working too slow. That is what the nurse told me but I was too shocked to listen to what she was saying

nope he doesn't want me to coz he's worried that I might to catch up too fast and over stimulate

at this rate I need a whole week to get to grow to decent sizes. one of them is 1.1cm and the other is 1.09cm

Today it's cd 12. going in for another scan on cd 14 now

i cried like a baby this morning when I arrived home

and the cherry on the cake do you know what it was? that on Sat I have to have 2 u/s's!!!!!! one abdominal and another internal. it seems that today there was gas in there (I was mortified when she told me with the gas I can't see properly - especially since I couldn't even feel like there was any gas in there) so first I have to have an abdominal, then go to the toilet and empty everything (hmmmm about 1 litre of water!!! ouch) and go back in for the internal

I don't know enough about all that, but I just wanted to offer my support and wish you the best of luck at your next appointment. I would've been mortified at the gas statement too.

Whats the abdominal u/s for? You would think they could see everything they needed with the vaginal.

I dunno. She said she wants to do it coz of the gas It's not making any sense to me.. Told ob about it (he's always sending me for tvus's) and he didn't say no so I guess I have to zip it and do what they say - what is worrying me is the not pissing on the couch part while she does the u/s

First, dont worry about gas, they have seen MUCH MUCH worse if they deal in gynecology!! I mean, they do a CD3 U/S on people, if they can deal with AF blood, they can deal with some gas...

ANyway...
We sound very similar...I'm doing injectables also this cycle, and after doing 125iu per day for 9 days now, my follicles are doing the same thing...I have one 13.5, and the rest are 11 and under...
the nurse today told me that I probably wont even trigger till Monday - which would make 13 days of injectables, ugh...

How much Follistim are you taking...
Also, do you know what your estrogen levels are (my estrogen levels are pretty crappy as well)?

I don't know what my estrogen levels are coz ob never checked them. Over here things are done in a very different way. At times it does frustrate me coz you're given much more information than i am, but on the other way it is 'easier' for me to cope in this way. Numbers do my head in and I am not really able to cope with anything that seems a bit low.

ouch 13 days! I'm on cd 13 today (6th day of injections) he's started me off with a low dose - only 75IU (and for now he doesn't want to increase it - hopefully after tomorrow he will!!! at least I'm hoping so!)

I'm still feeling a bit embarassed about the gas thing. i know that it's something normal but the way she said it it was ouch! hope that tomorrow there won't be any inside - lol just in case I might ask DH to sit on my stomach - if there's any with him sitting there it should come out shouldn't it? lol

Did you do Clomid or Femara before you started the Follistim, thats pretty late to start the injections if that was all you were doing...

my cycle, we started it at CD2 (I could have started at CD3 but I was impatient and wanted to start as early as possible)...so, dont feel bad about your follies, mine are about the same size as yours, and I'm doing almost double your dosage and I've been doing them for 10 days now...

Hope you get better results tomorrow (and me too!)
