Call the doctor after m/c and d&c regarding the return of AF. Today marks 6 weeks since my d&c and still no sign of the witch showing. When I went in for my 2 week follow up he said anywhere between 4-6 for the return of AF and to call if after 6 weeks there was no sign of it returning. I'm still really confused about the countdown to the 4-6 weeks. Is it 4-6 weeks after d&c or 4-6 weeks after bleeding stops? I don't want to seem silly or naive by calling if its too soon. I did have ewcm and positive opk's last week but I dont know if it was the real deal and not sure if that would affect things. So what would you do and when would you call. I'm so ready to be able to move forward but feel I can't until I know things are going back to normal.

I would've interpreted it as 4-6 weeks after the d & c. Regardless, I think that if you are really worried about it, then you should call them. It might give you some peace of mind. It's so hard when you don't know what your body is up to. Please keep us posted!

I agree with the other ladies I always wanted to tell you that after my first D&C my body did not go back to normal. I had to have meds to bring on AF and then it worked it's way back to normal. ((HUGS))

My OB told me that if I didnt see AF after 6 weeks (after the m/c not after the bleeding stopped - my bleeding didnt stop for 21 days!)...then I could call in the get provera to bring it on...so, I'd say call...
