Irene hit us head on dispite what the weather men predicted. This certainly isn't the worst hurricane I've been thru here in VA over the past 30 years. Bonnie was a catagory 3, Irene downgraded to a Cat 1 by the time it hit Hatteras... We sure got allot of wind & rain!!! Lots of branches down, power outages, flooding, 8ft high tides...

The mall my shop is in is closed today so I'm assuming they have no power. That really cuts into my paycheck being off for weather sat/sun. Wonder if they'll be open tommorrow, have payroll to do!
