My sister texted me and asked for my friend's phone number (friend is a nurse in the high risk OB dept at my sister's hospital). My sister is about 28 weeks pg and she said the baby's movement has decreased a lot and slowed down too. They are monitoring her, just wanted to ask for T&P for her - she has been having all kinds of complications with this pg and I am praying she can get to full term with this one.

Thanks for the T&P - my sister was in and out fairly quickly. The baby had a great heart rate and started moving like crazy (guess she didn't like being hooked up...lol) Anyways, the docs said things looked good, I am wondering if her sleep pattern changed or something...I know my sister is overly aware of everything given her history, so she may not have slowed as much as she thought. But, thanks for the T&P, every little bit helps!

How scary!! I really hope things work out and your sister can carry her baby to full term! Thoughts and prayers are going out to her, you, and your family!

Thanks ladies! She has a great doctor, he is making her get the steroid shots for the baby's lungs in case she goes early. She has had elevated BP (which had come down, not sure if it is back up now), was starting to dilate (internally, but they were still a little concerned because of her history), and she has been contracting a lot - strong ones. Every time they get one thing under control she has something else pop up.

T&P to her. I had steroid shots with my second DD born at 33 weeks. She turned out just fine. Hopefully things go as well for your sister.
