tomorrow i have to go for another follie scan and I feel so anxious. My heart is beating like crazy. i'm scared that the follicles are still too small I have no symptons of ovulation
I'm so scared that they will still be small and that we won't be allowed to trigger tomorrow
DH has left for work so I'm trying to calm myself down but I'm not doing a great job at it

Sam I really feel like crying! For heaven's sake it's cd 16 today - for how long do I have to keep on injecting? I can't figure it our why first I had 3 follicles, which seemed to have stopped growing and another found appeared out of nowhere.
I'm actually scared to go in tomorrow

I am ss you have to go through the waiting, wish we could just fast forward through the waiting periods! Try to busy yourself with something that will take your mind off of it...I know easier said than done right?!

Insomnia on top of the stress can't be fun! I think a good long movie is in order fro tonight so you can forget about everything else.

I agree with Sam! Watch Saving Private Ryan or Gone With the Wind, heck watch 'em both! That will kill 6 hours+!

I ended up chatting with some friends on msn. only problem none of them is insomniac so they are going to leave soon
might have to settle with a book. I hate it when DH has to work nights, especially on the eve of a visit. I'm counting the hours at home and he's doing the same thing at work

I'm back follie scan went okish. Instead of 4 follies, now I have three (don't know where the other went), but they have all grown quite a bit, but still too small to trigger (blehhh). Phoned ob and he told me to make an app for next Thursday, so yahoooooo in two days time hopefully we'll trigger and then do it like crazy monkeys

hehehe I still can't believe it that finally they are making a move! What surprised us was the left follie. She managed to find it only last Sat coz before the left side was empty. Today the left follie is the 2nd largest I have.
Now on thursday I'll go to the ob finally (who always manages to calm me down), hopefully get him to give me the trigger (he's always pushing me to take the injection myself - doesn't get it that long needles give me heart attacks) and have a 'chat' about the iui. I'm keeping everything crossed that I will not need it though. This is my last chance to get preg before my 31st birthday and if I do get pregnant now the baby would be my birthday present
i hope that if i do get pregnant you will not ask me to leae though you are the only friends I know who get it what it means to try to get preg and not manage to and how hard it is.

No one will ask you to leave! I know I won't be able to! It does help having the 'grads' around here to give hope anyway. But hopefully a bunch of us will get to be in the same DDC!!
And don't feel bad about the the shot. I can not give myself shots, DH has to do them all. Including the long azz needle for the trigger.

how sweet thanks! I would feel lost in a DDC
actually it is the ob who stresses me the most about the trigger. since I have to inject everyday (coz I'm diabetic) he makes it seem like a piece of a cake and makes me feel kind of stupid saying that i'm scared of the needle. What he doesn't seem to get is that the insulin needle is really really small and this is a full sized needle.
When i bought the trigger last week and the pharmacist gave me the needle i thanked God that i'm not capable of passing out coz i would have for sure. The room started spinning as soon as I saw it. that is the only hassle he gives me. otherwise I really love the guy - he's simply great

Congrats on growth! Trigger shots are scary as hell. I had to give myself one today and thought I would pass out. It's been a few hours and I still cringe.

So happy to hear that your follies grew...mine were really lazy at first also, and then finally, the last fe days they kicked it into gear
I know what you mean about the HCG trigger...but, I ordered it from Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy, and along with the normal needle, they included a smaller one to actually inject me with...it still hurt a lot more than the Follistim, but it wasnt as scary looking...
Cant wait to hear good things about Thursday!!
