Supposedly, you double the Clomid to get the soy amount. Most people start with 50mg of Clomid and you're young too. I started on 100mg of Clomid, but I am older. I also took the Clomid on days 5-9.

I took 160mg this month and had really dark OPK's. I took it 3-7 but I would do 5-9 if I were you.

I'd go with around 100 too, or actually 120 since soy comes in 40mg tablets. And I agree days 5-9 for you sounds good.

Ok, so then if the pills are 40 mg or whatever, and it says to take 2 a day, then I take 3 or 4 right??

Another stupid question, are any particular brands better than others? So far I see Spring Valley, Natures Way, and Natrol.

The Spring Valley from Walmart is what most women buy. Each pill is 40mg for them so you would take 3 if you want 120mg

And taking them at night helps reduce the side effects if you have any. They aren't as bad as Clomid but some women still get hot flashes ect..

sorry I never took soy. I started clomid on the 50mg

since you do O on ur own I wouldn't take double of that in soy

I would definitely do days 5-9 if you're looking for better quality eggs, and I would do AT LEAST double the clomid amount. I tried 120mg of soy and it did nothing for me, but 50 mg of clomid did. I think the soy is much weaker, so if you don't O strongly the first month, maybe try 160 the second?

Thanks ladies! I ordered the Natrol only because it was the best bang for my buck (120 tablets for $10 plus free shipping vs 60 tablets for $10). Plus it had great reviews so at least I know that it is not a bunk pill. I did not order the preseed though because I am now reading so many different reviews on it. We don't ever use lube anyway so I am unsure if we should buy it anyway??

I did 120 mg soy days 3-7...I had darker than normal opks for several days! Good luck!!!!
