LOL!!! I don't know if we waited that long to be honest. They just don't want to risk infection aftewards and I'm sure 4 weeks was stretching it out longer than probably needed. I'd call and ask. They may be perfectly fine with your being 2 weeks past.

Thanks!

I thin mine was two weeks also. But I was prescribed antibiotics and given an IV antibiotic during surgery. I know not all doctors do that.

I was told that I had to wait two weeks before inserting anything down there but I couldn't wait that long. I needed it for comfort lol sounds silly but I needed the closeness.

I had antibiotics during surgery and was prescribed them after, ok, I am going with 2 weeks, that is what it looks like the internet is saying too and I am pretty sure that is what the nurse at the hossy told me! I agree, I really want the closeness too! But, my body is also craving it - hehe! Thanks, ladies! Tomorrow is 2 weeks...hehe!

With my D&C's the doctors said to wait 2 weeks - I was given antibiotics and medicine to contract my uterus both times.
