My hubby is a huge Steelers fan (doesn't sit well with my Saints loving Louisiana family, lol) and they are coming to Houston to play at the beginning of October. We looked for tickets but they were all sold out except for a few single seats priced around $500 a piece and they were in the nose bleed section. I nearly puked!! Seeing how the Saints game still had some seats together and were priced around $80 a seat.

Anyway my sister did something nice for once. My BIL and sister are very "comfortable" and he owns a huge company with his family. My sister called yesterday and told me that my BIL bought him some tickets from a friend who owns another company for an early birthday present. They are on the 50 yard line, 4 rows up from the field on the Steelers side. I had to keep it a secret, but she told him today (I guess not being able to contain good news runs in the family, lol). He nearly peed himself. It has always been a dream of his to see them play in person. Now he can in fricken awesome seats!

With all the bad news we have been getting lately, it is nice to have something good happen for once. I know it is not much for me seeing how I cannot stand the Steelers (no offence to any fans on here), but it is worth something to see him happy. He has been taking everything so hard too.

ACK, a Steelers fan - lol! Sorry to hear that, I am married to an Eagles fan - lol! Doesn't sit well with my Skins loving family, although I do happen to have an uncle who is an Eagles fan

Anyways, that is awesome! I hope he enjoys the game, whether they win or lose!

Lol. Well I hope they lose, but only because he tortures me with my Saint's games. It's a friendly (somewhat) feud in our house. Lol.
