Last time I was TTCing, I was a temping addict...FF was my BFF, I talked to her everyday, updating every little potential symptom, analyzing my charts. Heck I kept temping for a month after I got my BFP because it felt so weird not to pop that thermometer in my mouth the minute I woke up.

So here I am, second time at the TTC rodeo and I'm not temping at all. Not by choice really (i'd love to) but DD is teething her 2 year molars right now (misery!) so i'm up multiple times each night and so I don't think the temping would be accurate.

All I've got are my OPKs...and it feels laaaazy, really really lazy. No obsessive documenting of temps, or graph charts...nothing. Just POS and wait for my smiley face...simple...boring, probably super accurate but where's the mystery?? I miss FF really really miss her!

Anyway, got the little happy face last night, so now the fun begins in earnest and maybe this will be a lucky Labor Day

Anyone else just doing OPKs? I'm in total envy of the temp trackers in here right now...I need someone to commiserate with!

You are not lazy...I'm lazy...I don't even have the energy to want to DTD. I'm using OPK's and if I had a + I would really have to talk myself into DTDing. How sad is that. I've been drained the past couple weeks the kids have had colds and waking up super early again. BLAH! Good luck catching that egg!!

I tried the temping with DD and I was lazy, i think I remembered to do it twice the entire cycle...lol! I used the OPK once and got a smiley, but no pg from it, so I just follow what my body tells me (I can feel when I am o'ing - in fact I know I o'd from the right side this time) - that feels lazy We will see if it works! GL with catching your egg.

It is really hard to temp when you have a toddler at home.
I have a preschooler and I have to plan my OPK testing around her nap times and I am sure my temps are not the best but I still do it anyway.

well i'm now in 2ww and not thinking much of this cycle already...we did get the little happy baby face OPK on Thur and manged to time some fun around that BUT DH got really sick on Friday, ended up in urgent care clinic Sat...some antibiotics and he's finally feeling better today so needless to say it wasn't the Labor Day weekend we planned. So I'll need some extra luck I think for this cycle...sigh...if not, then on to Oct!
