After I miscarried at 10w I had to go in to get an ultrasound (already had one scheduled for the day after I m/c, it was supposed to be my first ultrasound of my baby ) to make sure my body was doing what it was supposed to do and to confirm that I didn't need a D&C.
Well they took my blood to get my HCG levels and told me to come back in two weeks later to test and make sure they were going down properly..

*Problem* is that I moved a week later and never went in.
Since then my periods have been all wacky,
I never got cramps before the m/c, now I get them every month.
I went from a very regular 30 day af to a 28-35 day af depending.
I am j/w if not going in and getting checked out could have messed up something..
maybe even be the reason I haven't gotten pregnant for 8 months of NTNP
and now 2 months of TTC??

What do you ladies think?

Hi and welcome! I'm so sorry for your loss!!

A miscarriage can definitely mess up your cycles which can make things really confusing. I do think it would be a good idea to see a doctor in regards to TTC and the fact that you haven't conceived yet. Some simple blood tests can give you some answers and a starting point. Are you charting your cycles at all? I definitely recommend either charting your temps, using OPK's...or both. That would give you a good idea on what your body is up to and determine whether or not you are ovulating.

Good luck!!

I agree with Sarah! ((HUGS)) I am so very sorry for your loss. I do not think that not being checked afterwards is what is making your cycles messed up. After a loss your hormones are all out of whack in and in return so are you cycles. I think going to a doctor and checking all your hormone levels would be a good idea.
