While I idle away in the start of the 2WW....could use a little OPK tutorial if we have any experts out there...

Here's my timeline:

Wed 8/31 - OPK showed no surge (big zero face)
Thur 9/1 - OPK showed surge (happy baby face)
Fri 9/2 - OPK showed no surge (back to a big zero)

So do I assume I O'd on Thur...or sometime Friday? I tested each day at right around 6pm. The box just said that it would help predict the best 2 days to try....and we tried Thur & Fri (DH got sick so we didn't over the weekend), but I'm wondering if it's possible I O'd late Friday and missed possible window on Sat too.

Anyway, I'm bored so would love opinions or comments or commiseration for those also in the 2ww I was thinking I could test as early as the 11th (yeah i'm a glutton for punishment ) but was mentally targeting lucky 13th...AF should arrive sometime around 16-18th.

Those usually predict the time right before you O, which is the best time to DTD! And even if you o'd on Sat and Sun, DH's swimmers would likely still be swimming away, they can live for up to 3 days. When I got pg with DD, I was actually away for the entire weekend, yes she is DH's lol! So, you could have just DTD Friday and still had a heck of a chance! GL! I hope this is it for you

My guess would be that if you had the surge on Thursday, chances are you O'd on Friday...or maybe even Saturday. It looks like you had great timing!!! Good luck with the will power!!

OPK's show your LH surge. Your body usually had a LH surge 24-48 hour before you ovulate so I would say you ovulated Friday/Saturday
