yeah, we have to put some outside stuff away, get the snow blower working, I have already got the winter clothes out and washed and in the closests. I don't know how long it takes to go from HOT to COLD here - in jersey, it would get cold pretty quick into october.

do I enjoy winter - that is harder. The only thing I like about winter is Christmas and since that happens 4 days into winter, I think winter is far too long. by the time February rolls around I am counting the days to the time change and waiting for buds on the trees.

We put away our outside furniture already. We still need to get pellets for our stove and then we should be pretty set. I dread the cold though.

Do you do anything to prepare for winter? Just put away outside stuff and make sure we have our boots, hats, gloves, & winter coats ready.
Do you enjoy winter? No, not really. I think snow is pretty, but it's a major pain to deal with. Plus everything gets dirty. I love Christmas, but that's about the only thing to look forward to. The worst is the bitter cold of February. That is my least favorite month.

Do you do anything to prepare for winter? We have a lot left to get ready for winter. We have to cut wood for our stove, get fuel, finish cutting the hay, finish getting everything out of the garden, making sure the animals are ready.
Do you enjoy winter? I don't enjoy the cold. I think snow is pretty but after the first time it snows I am sick of it. I love Christmas but that is about it. Now Dh loves winter. He can't wait until it gets cold.

Do you do anything to prepare for winter? I have to go clothes shopping for DS. But thats about it.

Do you enjoy winter? I only like winter because of DS Birthday 12/22 and Christmas. so if winter could end at the end of December i would be a happy girl.

Do you do anything to prepare for winter? Lots and lots of things... checking the plumbing so we don't have freezing issues, buying and stacking a cord of wood, lots of canning/freezing produce, pulling the big sweaters out of storage, etc.

Do you enjoy winter? Hmmm... well I have chosen to live in a place that has about a 6-7 month winter so I'm working on my attitude about it. It's already freezing at night here and I hate to see the summer go. There are things that I love about it - the snow is beautiful, snuggling is fun, I'm a big fan of sweaters and boots... but I really hate being cold!
