Hi, my name is Claire I am 35 and I have 2 boys ages 1 and 5. I have also had several losses. One was a blighted ovum in 2009 and a 10 week loss in 2010. I have also had a few chemical pregnancies or very early losses (about 4). I went through lots of tests and was found to have MTHFR A1298C hetero. I took baby aspirin and was able to have a healthy son after all the losses. After I stopped nursing my little guy everything with my body, cycles just seemed off. I knew that my egg quality was not the best because my FSH test before my last child was 10.1 and I was 33 years old. My RE was not really worried about this number and we conceive naturally one month later and had my rainbow baby. I saw my OB last week and he has ordered another FSH test because he is worried that I might be starting menopause. I am a very healthy, fit, runner but my mom went through menopause early so this might be happening to me as well regardless of how well I take care of myself. I am scared because I do want another child but this might not even be an option for us. I hope to at least ttc for a little bit longer and hope that we get some good news and there still might be hope. If not I am truly willing to accept that and feel blessed to have 2 children. I hope to hang around a bit and get to know some of you. I would love to offer support as I know how hard it is to have losses and of course all of my real life friends have a very easy time conceiving and just dont seem to understand.

Welcome and I am ss for your losses, but congrats on the 2 healthy babies!

I can't offer any words of advice, because I don't know much about it, but aren't there ways to reverse the effects of menopause through therapy? It sounds like you may be coming to terms with it if it does occur, but have you considered other options if that is what they tell you? I hope you get good news! GL and KUP!

Oh, and Welcome to the board!

Welcome and so sorry for your losses.
I also have MTHFR but I have both mutations (compound). After my 3rd loss we found this out and now when I am pregnant they have me on Lovenox injections.
I hope you get good news from your testing.

I'm so sorry for your losses! It sounds like you've had a rough road TTC. I hope that you aren't starting menopause and that you can go on to get pregnant soon.
