Ok, this is driving me nuts and I just had to talk about it. I keep seeing the ad banner at the top of the JM page for the Tria laser hair removal tool. I WANT IT!!!! I looked it up though, and it's $400!!! YIKES!!!! Although...if I add up all the money I spend on razors, I'll bet it would pay for itself in a year or so.

Phew...I feel better now that I let that all out!

I haven't seen that one... it's usually teen ADHD or Disney something or other for me.... Is it like home electrolysis?

Yeah, something like that. Here's the link: Laser Hair Removal It says results guaranteed but I take that with a grain of salt. I fell for the Keratin Earth hair straightening system claims (that cost $100) and it didn't work at all. Luckily they refunded my money right away. I'm such a sucker for as seen on tv things....really bad!!

Lol.... Maybe I should look into it.

Poor DF suffers from the fact that I really hate to shave and I'm prickly a lot!

OMG! That made me cringe!! Haha!! I am so obsessed with having clean shaved legs. My friends like to torture me by not shaving and then trying to get me to touch their legs! EEEEK!!! The other day I freaked out because I forgot to shave one leg. I realized it later that day and was totally disgusted with myself. LOL! I'm a freak...I admit it!

Hehe... at least you know you have a problem!

Actually I feel guilty about it a lot and even make comments about how gross it is and he tells me he doesn't think it's gross at all. Guess I'm lucky that way! I'm so much better in the summer when I'm wearing lots of shorts and sundresses...

He'd be freaked out if he knew I was telling anyone this so shhh... DF was a swimmer in high school and ever since then he's shaved his pits. He says it's so much nicer and not nearly as smelly! Lol... that actually freaked me out the first couple of times I saw it!

LOL!! I promise I won't tell him you told us!!! I think it's great that he does that! I wish more men would! It definitely keeps the stink down. The hair is what traps the bacteria in and makes the pits so stinky when they sweat. I've heard of male swimmers and bikers shaving their legs too...something about aerodynamics.

Becky, if I had the money, I would buy you that laser hair removal as an engagement present for you and your DF!!!

Yeah he shaved his full body a few times for competitions. When he asked if I wanted him to do that I said "no way!" I like the hair and I think that men should be hairy! The pit thing doesn't bother me at all since I got used to the idea, but he needs to keep the rest!

I appreciate the thought Sarah! Maybe I'll mention it to him and see if he likes the idea... lol Someone needs to come up with a permanent thing that doesn't cost an arm and a leg! I waxed for a while, and didn't mind that, but I hated letting the hair get long enough to pull out...

I agree...a hairless man isn't the best. Imagine how long they'd take in the shower if they shaved their bodies! My BF complains enough when I take 15 minutes to shower.

Do you remember the Epilady? That was a BRUTAL device! I had one and it was way too painful to keep up with it. Waxing hurts too, but at least it's quick.

OMG! The Epilady was SO invented by a man! I only tried it once, I believe on a dare, but that there was some pain!

I've tried Nair too and it makes my sensitive skin red and splotchy and sore... so until I win that lottery it's shaving for me!

Don't get the home kit! Yikies! Go to a professional laser hair removal and preferably a dr that operates the machine. I've had some friends that have been severely burned by a laser operator that did not understand their skin type. A couple have like a localized tan/burn that you can still see years later....
I am in the process of having my chin, underarms, and bikini done......I really want my legs done.....

Sara - I am sorry but shaving is not my #1 priority and I would probably gross you out most of the time!

This is one of the funniest, best threads I have read in quite a while. Thumbs up girls!!

I think my messed up hormones gave me hair that wasn't there before. I have like 3 whiskers on my chin that really bug me! I am obsessed with plucking them everyday! I could use a tool like that for sure.
