I was sitting in the turn lane at the light at the street that I work on, there were about 4 or 5 cars in front of me. I was doing what I shouldn't have been and playing on my phone while waiting for the light to turn green. I hear a very faint honk and look up, the cars in front of me were gone and the light was turning yellow...ooops! Sorry to all of the people that missed the light because of me...I hate when others do that, now I can't yell at people for doing the same...lol!! I was a hypocrite and I hate hypocrites...ugh! I guess I learned my lesson...lol!

Yikes! I can honestly say I hardly ever use my phone in my car now. I know too many people who have been in accidents from texting

Aww I will check my phone at lights too. But we only have 1 here so its not often. Since getting a touch screen phone I can't do much with it without looking at it like I could with a button phone. Glad it was just missing a light and nothing worse!!

Oh Katie, I don't ever use it when the car is in motion...that scares me when I see people doing that! I was actually stopped at the light, but I should have been watching the light...lol! It's illegal here to use a handheld device while driving...of course that is more common now, but I still see people on their phones while in motion and texting too!

OMG, I totally would've been that person beeping and flipping you off! LOL!! Luckily I don't live in the city anymore so my road rage has dampened. I'm glad you don't text and drive. I saw a horrible PSA that was from Europe and wow, did that make me wake up and get off the phone! It was so graphic that Facebook took it away.
