So I think I am ovulating. I only had the m/c two weeks ago, but I did start temping and everything is doing what it's supposed to do, and everything down there has been the ...how shall I put this... right consistency for the last couple of days, so we've been DTD like you wouldn't believe, TMI, sorry.

I don't necessarily expect anything to happen so soon after the m/c, but it's kind of fun to see what happens I think. I was thinking I wanted to wait a bit, but I'm actually really ready to try again, although admittedly I was a little sad last night about the loss. I hadn't thought about it in a few days until the prospect of trying again came up... but I think we're doing okay

Does anyone have an advice for me about testing? Since my cycle hasn't normalized should I just start testing when I think AF is going to start?

If you're temping and see the definite rise, then I'd start testing around 10-12 DPO since you aren't sure whether or not your m/c will affect your LP. Of course, you can always start sooner than that if you are a POAS addict like so many of the rest of us!

Good luck!

I would wait to test for a while. We TTC right after our m/c in August and I Oed on CD 22 and AF showed 14 days later. I would wait to test until at least 10 DPO. I am waiting until 14 days to test because of possibility of a chemical again so now I wait. (Of course I say that now! I am sure I will be testing at 8DPO LOL)

With my second miscarriage in early September, I ended up ovulating 8 days after my miscarriage started. I was shocked! But there was no mistaking it, and I had the OPK to prove it. This is my second cycle since the m/c, and I am once again ovulating on CD 8 I don't know if the fact that I took progesterone the last cycle had anything to do with it, but totally abnormal for me! As for your question about when to test, most stuff you read will say 10 days post-ovulation is about the earliest you can get a BFP... my earliest was 11 days after ovulation.

Wow! That's incredible! I am going to be taking progesterone, but haven't started yet. My doc wanted me to wait until after having first AF and then after ovulating that cycle, but I really do think I ovulated this time, although didn't OPK, so it's really quite an educated guess.

I think I'll wait at least 10 dpo based on the advice given here. You ladies are awesome!

And I am a POAS addict too, when I was pg before I kept testing even though it was obvious that it was positive. It was too much fun!
