One year ago today I had a d&c due to a blighted ovum. I was lucky to only have to experience it one time since it was so painful and so emotional. I came here for support and was welcomed with open arms. I had so many questions and was guided through the trying to conceive after loss journey by so many wonderful women. Again, I was lucky because I was able to become pregnant again in early December. I am now a mom to two beautiful and healthy twins (I am already mother to a wonderful special needs daughter). I am posting to first say thank you to those of you who helped me and to also give hope to those who have suffered losses. I never would have thought that I would have a baby to hold today, never mind two! Please know that I will continue to pray for you ladies so that you may all have the chance to hold your own rainbow babies!

Thank you both! I certainly cannot believe they'll be 2 months in a few days! Time is FLYING!

My daughter has done far better accepting them than I thought she would. Being non verbal it's hard to figure out sometimes what she's thinking, but they make her laugh a lot. Whenever they burp or fart she thinks it's super funny lol. She seems interested in them which is fantastic. We are hoping that as they twins hit their milestones (God willing) that she may be interested enough to try to do what they are doing...

congrats lady! i used to work with special needs children and they are the biggest joy. i am hoping my son's school will let me volunteer in the special needs class as well. it amazed me everyday how some parents of special needs kids were told they wont be able to do stuff like read and count and walk and yet with a little help and therapy and attention they do miracles. having your twins is probably the best thing for you daughter. you are a special woman for sure!!
