As of today it is officially 6 weeks since I had my D & E and no sign of AF. Just curious what's the longest some of you ladies have had to wait for AF.

I've taken 2 HPT both BFN (they were dollar store brands don't know if that makes a difference).

Being very impatient. Time is not on my side

I have heard the range of 4-8 weeks, my doc said 4-6, but others have said 4-8, so hopefully you get it soon! HAve you tried OPK's to see if you O'd?

My OB said 4-8 is normal and 6 weeks is pretty average. Mine was right at 6 weeks.

It took just over 7 weeks for mine to return and apparently it can take even longer for things to really regulate as I'm sitting here on CD 31 waiting for my 2nd post loss AF to get here.

Thank you! Your responses make me feel better/normal.

As for the OPK, after my m/c I bought the CBEFM so I'm waiting for AF to show up so I can start testing. Maybe I'm more anxious to play with my new toy

It took 4 weeks 1 day for me, but a little over 6 weeks for my SIL so don't get worried just yet.

This is good to know. I won't freak out then if AF doesn't come 28 days after m/c.

It took me 6-7 weeks to get my first AF after a loss. Then I was regularly going 8 weeks (sometimes even 12 weeks) between AFs and when I did get them, they were 2 days and spotting and then done and were like that for a year. They did eventually regulate themselves out. How, I do not know or why. No testing was ever done.

Don't let that scare you. That's highly unusual. I chalk it up to stress of starting a new job at the time and all that.

6 weeks sounds like it is within a reasonable range.

It took me over 8+ weeks with my first loss and they finally gave me meds to bring on AF. ((HUGS)) I hope AF comes soon for you.

I have actually been wondering this question myself! I had a D&C on Sept 14th, so I haven't even hit the 4 week mark yet, but I have been curious and hoping it will come sooner than later. My doctor wants to wait until I get to my second cycle before we look into a frozen transfer from left over embryos. I am curious to see how long the first cycle takes to return. I have always been regular, so I am hoping that helps a little, and that for once, my body does what I want it to....

I guess we'll see....I think all the time that goes by in between tries/transfers, is one thing that really bugs me about this whole process. I understand needing time for the body to heal, but OY! I just want to try again....

My cycles sound alot like yours SkyBaby. My cycles would vary anywhere between 40 -60 days (very frustrating). With my last cycle my OB did prescribe provera and clomid which I give credit for becoming pregnant in the first place, but I've also read that clomid could also contribute to m/c. Can't win for losing :-( I'll give it another week and then have my OB prescribe provera again. However I think I'll try soy instead of clomid this time. Does anyone know if taking soy will effect the results of my OPK (CBEFM)?
