Coming back...eventually (preg mentioned, m/c mentioned)

I probably owed everyone an update here sooner, and some already have seen my posts in PAMAL & May DDC, but this pregnancy is going to end in a loss. My OB can't officially declare it a loss yet b/c hb remains but has given me no chance of viability (a combo of issues, low hb, no growth & bad HcG levels/no doubling, and bleeding). I go back on Monday for what will hopefully be the 3rd and final u/s to confirm the hb is gone and then discuss path forward (most likely a D&C).

So I will probably lurk for a bit until we're closer to actually being able to TTC again (i don't anticipate waiting long, although OB will recommend 3 cycles) but wanted everyone to know what was going on with me...

Oh no!! Lara I am so sorry!!!

Please keep us posted and let us know what the next ultrasound results are. I am hoping and praying that your doctor has made a mistake and everything will be fine!

you ladies are so sweet

....there is unfortunately no mistake with this one (and i'm bleeding heavily for the 5th straight day) even though the hb was still there at 2nd u/s on Tue, the baby is measuring now 2 weeks behind with no growth at all (and no increase in hb) over a 4 day period. My HcG levels from week earlier increased from 3500 to like 3650 in 48 hours (this before the u/s results) and my prog result was wretched (2.89, where 10+ needed to sustain pregnancy) which was our first warning (beyond all the earlier spotting) that we likely had an impending m/c. The lil bean is obviously a fighter as it was somewhat amazing the hb was there 4 days later with zero growth happening and hcg levels not really increasing either....but the heartrate is so low that they expected to lose it perhaps even same day.

I wish there was some hope to be had, but at this point I'm ready to have closure and move forward. It's been a very difficult 2 weeks dealing with the bleeding & bad test results, but looking forward to being out of this wait/worry limbo next week.

As much as I want go through the TTC journey with you again, I hate to see you back in here. I'm sorry that this is happening again.....I'll check on you Monday.
