Soo I posted last weekend that I found out that I was pg. That being said everything seemed to go fine. Found a awesome ob scheduled the appotintment got my insurance situated. etc. Then last night my whole stomach felt hard had cramps and when I wiped it was pink with a tinge of red and this am it was brown. So I called my ob, he told me to come in right away, He did a pelvic exam took a lot of blood, pee sample etc. He said everything feels ok but he wanted an ultrasound and a pelvic ultrasound. So I went across the street to the hospital and the technician did the ultrasound and said it looks right where you are supposed to be for 4 weeks and 2 days but she couldnt see anything like anything. She told me not to worry because sometimes this early its hard to see anything. Finished the appointment and called my ob back he put me on progesterone , and bedrest till I get the results from the blood work tomorrow. He said that will show where your hcg levels are at, hopefully they are at where they are supposed to be but if they arent and they are lower than I could be mc soon. I am so SCARED!!! I really hope hope and pray that my levels are where they are supposed to be and I am ok. I am just a crying mess right now scared about my baby. My husband is really hoping everything is ok hes scared too. Any advise ladies? You all are awesome, and have helped me so much I just am curious if this has ever happened to you and your ob said to do something different? Please let me know. I am just trying to see if there is anything else we can do . I appreciate your feedback ladies!

Sounds like your OB is doing what needs to be done. I'll be praying that your levels are good and that this is your sticky bean.

If something is going to happen there is nothing you can do to change it. I agree with PP that OB sounds like they are taking good care of you. Try to relax, big

I agree with all the ladies, your dr seems to be doing everything he can. Now when I got pg with DS that's how it started, a bit of pink and brown and he's a healthy 2.5 year old.

anxious today. I wam waiting for the nurse to call me back with my blood work results. She's supposed to call around one or so at least that is what the receptionist said this am when I called to find out. I started having some more cramps last night but after I took the prometrium with in like 45 min they stopped. So I just really hope that it works. we had a mc last year in may. Our little bean only lasted 7 weeks. I guess that is why i am kinda a wreck. This is our first pregnancy after our loss.

I had something similar happen with my baby girl who is a healthy 34 weeks. I was around 6 weeks and started spotting a little. Light pink and brown just like yours. Some mild cramping, too. I was pretty freaked out. I went in the next day (that was as soon as I was able to go). My numbers were rising normally. The doctor refused to give me an ultrasound though because she was just too little to really even see a heartbeat and he knew that not seeing one on screen would only make me more nervous than waiting a couple weeks when we could see her. Boy was he right. lol She had a perfect little heartbeat at around 8 weeks.

Seeing a little bit of spotting and some cramping doesn't necessarily mean disaster for your baby. I had a small cyst on one of my ovaries and that was what was causing the spotting he thinks. The cyst was gone by 12 weeks, which was the next ultrasound of her. The spotting stopped later that day it started.

I know it's impossible, but try not to stress too much. Stress can make things worse. I'm praying for you and your bean. I'm sure your bean will be just fine.
