Hey,
I haven't been on here for some time now but hope that all of you ladies are doing well. Some of you may not know who I am but I am sure there are some here that do remember me.

I went on my followup appointment with RE this morning and all my lab work looked great as well as my DH SA. Do not remember exact count etc but real good numbers.
Also my uterus is arcuate and there is no septum to be removed.
RE suggested we do IUI or the more aggressive option IVF. We decided on IUI one round and it that does not do it to go to IVF.
We will start the treatment process when I get my AF in December. The reason why December is due to that we have a trip planned the first weekend in November and that is when I can expect my Nov AF to show. They will need to do day three bloodwork and basal US and that will work better in December for us time wise.
Insurance does not cover IUI or meds but we'll make it work.

I am thinking this will go well and that all goes as planned we'll have a september baby.

I'll be checking in from time to time but sporadic. Having quite a bit on my plate now a days.

Of course I remember you! If everything looks good, I would try a few rounds of IUI before the IVF though. Good lucky and sending plenty of sticky vibes your way.

Good to hear from you!
What kind of IUI are you doing...unmedicated or medicated w/Clomid or injectables?
I wanted to encourage IUI as well a few times before IVF, also, we had zero success with Clomid, but got it with injectables and IUI...
Cant wait to hear good things from you!!

Hi Lovisa!! Thanks for the update!! I was wondering how you were doing. I think IUI sounds like a great step!! From everything I have researched, an IUI is fairly inexpensive, especially compared to IVF. Since you have so much of your testing done, that will make the cost go down a little bit too. I hope you have a great trip in November and that December brings you a BFP!

Hi there! I had an IUI done and it was a very simple procedure. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes!

Where are you going on vacation? Anywhere fun?

I hope it is successful for you sweetie.

I am doing the medicated IUI with Gonal-F injectibles. My RE said I was done with clomid. Even though that would have been cheaper I go with the injectibles.

Trust me when I say that the difference between injectables and Clomid is night and day...with injectables I had no side effects, great lining, AND 4 perfect follies...I used Follistim, but I heard that it was just like Gonal-F...hope it goes PERFECTLY!!!
