VENT... doctor's records...

So i switched doctor's last month and would have figured that they would have my records from my previous dr.... I calleld to make sure because I have an appt tommorrow.. They said that they didn't receive anything and that they resent the request.... This was the other day.... I called again and they still didn't get anything... So I called the previous dr to make sure that they saw a fax requesting the records...... I called old doc and they gave me a hard time.. the receptionist said that I would have to pick it up and would have to pay $1 a sheet.. I have about 50 sheets.... crazy! Then I asked her more questions and then she acted like she couldn't here me and hung up the phone... the nerve... then I called back.. someone else picked up the phone and I sarted over again... She said that there was no request on file for the records to be transferred but if they had the request from the other doctor they do not charge per the sheet.... ??????? The first lady was a ******...
So annoyed... This is part why I hate switching drs.....

Oh... and the reason for seeing my doc was b/c I called to ask the new dr if I should be taking Progesterone supositories or something during my DPO.. and they wanted me to come in......

Good luck. I switched after 20 weeks along with my son, and the other doc pulled the same crap on me. My new ob told me not to even worry about it...all they really would need was my blood test results unless I wanted to redo it, which I didn't b/c I didn't want to get stuck with the bill if the insurance wouldn't cover it again...so she called them and they did at least fax the blood test stuff over. But she said it was totally ridiculous that they wouldn't even send it after a doctor requested it because they send them out for free when other doctors request them.
