I come in here every day and while I do not always post I read most of them. I feel like I don't know many of you.
So... Tell me something about YOU! It does not need to be TTC related.

Hmmm I'm 28 live in Macon which is just south of Atlanta, we own a home that is on a lake. Even though we have a 4 bedroom house occupancy is full with SO his dad my dad and our three kids. I like to sew and once I'm comfortable and know this pregnancy is viable will probably start sewing cloth dipes again. I'm a SAHM which is extremely boring since all of the kids are in school. I like to play WoW which is my guilty little pleasure lol. I think that's about it I'm a pretty boring person

Heather, I like to play WoW too!! I haven't played in a looooooong time though...I go through stages where I'll play for a while and then get bored of it. I don't do any of the big dungeons anymore either...too stressful.
A little about me....I'm 38 (yuck) and living in Maine with my BF and our 3 dogs & 2 cats. I'm originally from Montana (go Griz!) and consider that my true home, but grew up in Maine. I went to college in Elmira, NY and lived in Oneonta, NY for a while before moving to MA and then NH. I moved back to Maine after my divorce in 2007 and have been here ever since. I'd move back to Montana if I could convince my BF to do it. But, since he's a lobsterman and there are no lobsters to catch in Montana, the chances are slim. My BF & I are currently TTC our first together after a loss in February. It's been a rough road but I know that it will happen. It has to.
And I totally agree...Missy, you are a major inspiration!! I am so happy that you'll be meeting your little girl soon!! She's so lucky to have such a wonderful mommy!!

Umm...let's see. I'm 29, married for 11 years with a 2-year-old named Jack. We live in the 'burbs in the DFW metroplex but I grew up in the middle of nowhere Louisiana. I work full-time in the banking/finance industry.

the last time I went this crazy over finding a new M/W was the cycle I found out I was pg.
I live in martinsburg WV, and love the scenery. I like to sew and bake and host thanksgiving dinner! mmmmm food

I know Macon! I used to date a guy who's family was from there. Plus when I lived in Atlanta every year I worked at the Cherry Blossom festival as well as the fair there in the fall. Love Macon - super small town feel.

Woah, are you saying you have stalked me? HELP! LOL
Yeah, it has been such a hard painful journey for us and this board was such a help to me for almost 3 years. I guess that is why I can't leave here. I feel it is my duty to give back what I was given. I have had the honor of actually meeting girls in real life from this board and they are now lifelong friends.
I am so sorry for your losses. It is so heartbreaking. Is the guy you are TTC with the same dad as your other children or a new relationship? How do they feel about you having another child? You said your youngest is 3 years old, how old are the others?
I hope you get pregnant soon! xoxoxox

Maybe you 2 can get together and play WOW together! How fun.
Listen girly, If you say one more thing about your age I am coming to Maine to kick your butt and make you cook a huge lobster dinner for me. Just remember - I am almost 5 years older than you. Do your cats and dogs fight? We have 3 cats and my husband really wants a dog. We are thinking of getting one in August next year. He wants a big dog like a pit or ratwaller (sp). We were at a farmers market a month ago and the local pet shelter was there with some dogs. I had the whole stigma of pittbulls in my head until I saw this sweet dog up for adoption. You could just see his whole sole in his eyes. DH could not even go and pet him - we knew we would bring him home. It was instant love for both of us and the dog. But we live in an apartment and it would not have been fair to the poor pup.
You will have your rainbow baby darling - it is just so stressful in the meantime.

LOL!! Missy you crack me up!! You don't have to kick my butt...but I'll still cook you a big lobster dinner. Actually, my BF will have to cook it. I can't put the lobsters in the pot. The last time he tried to make me do it, I started crying. It all started years ago after I had a dream about a pet lobster that I cooked. It was horrible!
Our cats & dogs get along great! In fact, our German Shepherd is obsessed with one of them and will follow him around or sit and just gaze at the cat. He even knows the cat's name. Whenever we say "where's Charlie?", he'll look for him and is so happy when he finds him. I think he thinks the cat is his son or something. He seems very maternal with him, which is weird because he's a giant male dog. I definitely think you should get a dog. A Pit would be an excellent choice. Lindsey E has one or two Pits I think. I don't think an apartment is necessarily a bad place for a dog, unless you have a high energy dog. I've lived in apartments with dogs and it's been fine. You just have to be prepared to take them for walks. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that some places will have breed restrictions...either because of their own ideas of so-called "dangerous" dogs or because of discriminatory insurance companies. It would definitely be a good idea to contact your landlord or apartment manager to see if there are any restrictions. I'm so glad you were able to meet a Pit and see what the breed is really like. I used to work at an animal shelter and have met hundred of them. Out of all of them, there was just a tiny handful that would've been considered questionable...no doubt because of their previous owners.

I'm turning 33 on Thursday, and have been married for just over 6 years. I have a 3 year old son named Josiah, and we've had two losses since May. My pregnancy with Josiah was textbook perfect, so that is what keeps me going despite these recent losses. We live just north of Seattle, 4 blocks from the Puget Sound. I am a classically trained singer, and perform semi-professionally (recitals, church solo work, weddings, etc). I consider myself a SAHM who also works. I have the best of both worlds! I manage a private voice studio, teaching lessons two nights a week after my DH gets home from work, and I work on Thursday mornings for two hours teaching a K-2 general music class and a 3-4 general music class. Before I had Josiah, I had a full time teaching job. I'm also in the process of applying for licensure with Music Together to open a new center, and hope to start teaching classes sometime within the next year. JM is definitely my secret place, and I am co-host of the Aug/Sept 08 PR.

I am 28 and live near Cleveland, Ohio. I worked for nearly 9 years in a public library, until I decided to quit and stay home this past February. I couldn't leave my babies anymore. The commute was too long (50 min each way in GOOD weather) and I felt I never got to see them. I love to write and a run a successful news website. I also love to paint, but haven't bee able to find the time to indulge in that since my first kid was born in 2009....maybe when they're older...

I'm 30 years old, married for 7 years, 1 son who is 5 and we have a 75 lb lap dog. I love photography, but only as a hobby and I live for reading a good book and listening to music. I am what I term the office "goddess" for a small IT company because basically I do it all except the IT.

Yes I have been with the same man for 17yrs, he is not my eledest dd dad but as good as.
My eldest dd is 18yr then I got ds 14yrs, dd 13yrs and my wee man who is 3yrs.
We don't really plan our babies as when we did in the past the first one was born sleeping any then my elder ds was born at 26wks, we have always felt we jinked them when they were planned (silly I know thinking like that)
My oldest dd had her dd when she was 16yrs now 2yrs on she is at college and doing really well for herself

Missy like Katie said you already know me. I am Stacey. I have been married to my best friend for little over a year now. We live on a small farm with 4 dogs. I never thought I would like living on a farm. I wouldn't trade living in the country on a farm for anything in the world. I am a stay at home housewife with making homemade gifts on the side.
On a side note ladies don't give up. Dh and I was told we couldn't be able to gtt pg on our own. We have gotten pg on our own 3 times now. We had 3 losses and are currently pg with our rainbow baby. Don't give up hope ladies.

I'm Cristina, 34 years old and have an almost 4 year old DD. We've had infertility struggles in the past and DD was concieved with an IUI, while our second pregnancy which ended in a loss was a complete natural miracle.
I work full-time and am very busy overall, though I've discovered the angry bird game a couple of weeks ago LOL
This board is the only one I come to on JM lately.
