Since my m/c happened so early in my pregnancy, DH and I decided that we really wanted to try again as soon as possible. I think most doctors would recommend waiting at least one cycle. However, my hCG never progressed the way it should, and it dropped back to <1 within a week of the m/c. So DH and I decided to just go ahead and try again the very next cycle.

My cycle has been weird so far... temps out of whack, a lot more pre-ovulation symptoms, etc., but it looks like I O'd yesterday. So we'll see what this cycle brings for me.

As far as advice for you, once your hCG reaches zero, it's really an emotional decision at that point. Good luck, whatever you decide.

I had read online....many mixed articles. I had an early m/c at 5 wks. numbers never progressed...went back to zero quickly... so I decided to go against my dr's advice and try again right away. You will see in my siggy....I got pregnant again, right away as well. And, lost that pregnancy right away too. I went to see a new OBGYN and here is what he said to me: I know you might have read online that it is fine if it was an early m/c, blah,blah,blah...but I have been doing this for over 15 years and I see most women who get pregnant within the first 2 cycles without waiting...end in m/c. He said the ones that go on to be fine are not the norm and he recommended waiting 2 cycles for the best chances. I am just letting you know what he said. I wish I would have waited because that put us waiting yet, another 2 cycles. Well, we now are waiting until April due to my husbands deployment schedule anyways. But, it is obviously up to you, but I would certainly contact my dr. before making a decision. I wish I would have listened.

Hey ladies. I was just curious how long after your loss did you try again? I have to go back next week for more bloodwork to make sure my levels are dropping, so I figured I'd ask the nurse then.. But I wanted your guys opinions

For me I waited until this cycle which was my 3rd cycle after my loss. For me it was more emotional readiness than it was physical readiness. My loss was also very early on ,but I just needed time to regroup my emotions. I agree with what Adrienne said, once your levels are back down to zero it would be more up to your emotional feelings on the matter.
