Well, the numbers didn't double this time. I have to admit I was shocked. I really thought things were going good this time and was feeling good about my progesterone number. Now, I'm just sitting here waiting again. I have to go back for more blood work on Wednesday and then I'll meet with my doctor to see what we are going to do. I want to TTC again as soon as possible, but I really want some answers as to why this keeps happening to me. Three losses in a row can' t be coincidence. And I'd be lying if I said I wasn't absolutely crushed right now.

I'm so very sorry, Leanne. I thought everything looked good... especially that pic of the last test you posted that was clearly a lot darker than the previous one.

It's just not fair! My heart is absolutely breaking for you.

I hope your doctor can figure out what's causing these miscarriages and that you can get your sticky BFP soon.

Adrienne - Me too, I thought I was in the clear after that last dark test yesterday. It was darker than all the rest. I don't know how I could have dropped to 20 today. I wish I had more tests to take, but all I have is a digi and that really wouldn't tell me anything. I was just totally speechless when she told me my number today. I haven't had any spotting or bad cramping or anything. I wish it was just some horrible mistake, but I'm sure it's right. I'm no stranger to missed miscarriages.

I was speechless when I got my results from my loss, too. Just like you, my tests weren't getting much darker. I was trying not to read too much into it. Then the day before my loss, the test was at least twice as dark as the day before. I was so relieved. The very next day, though, I started miscarrying. My beta draw that day was only 8! After having that darker test the day before.

The only positive I can see in it all is that the hCG is leaving your system soon. Maybe your cycle will get back to normal quickly. You mentioned progesterone. Have your levels been good? It just seems that with three losses in a row, it must have something to do with progesterone. I hope you can get some answers soon. This is just tragic. Have you left work yet? You need your DH to pamper you tonight.

Yes, I left work around 1 eastern time. I just couldn't work and I didn't want anyone to see me like that. They did just check prog on Wed and it was 17.1. My doctor seemed to think that was good. I just can't imagine what else could be causing these early losses.

I am so sorry sweetie , I thought everything looked good for your too! Hopefully the doctor can find out what is causing them for you at least to give you some peace. I agree with adrieen, you need some pampering, maybe a nice bath soft music and candles. Sending you lots of hugs!!!

Oh Leanne, I am so devastated for you! Have you had analysis done of your other losses? I would want to know if you were miscarrying chromosomally abnormal or normal fetuses. If the baby is chromosomally normal, there is a greater chance of some sort of physical problem causing the miscarriages vs. nature just getting it wrong. I am so, so sorry you are going through this. I wish I could reach through the computer screen and give you a huge hug.

Doremi - No, they haven't done anything with my previous losses. They don't do any further testing until you've had 3 losses. They basically chalked the first one up to - "it happens". The second one, they didn't even bother to call me with my bloodwork - I ended up doing everything through my family doctor. Now with this one, after we do the bloodwork tomorrow, they are going to schedule an appointment for me with the doctor. I really don't want to meet with the doctor (though I have nothing against her) - I just want to be referred to an RE and find out what is going on. I feel broke. And to add insult to injury, just take a look at my chart today! :'(
