My numbers on Monday held steady from Thursday. 693 on Thursday, 692 on Monday....which is a good thing because they're finally not going up. Hopefully they will start to fall now....the faster the better.

I had an appointment with the OB today to discuss my situation. He started off asking me what I'd decided, and I told him I did not want the D&C and he asked about the methotrexate and I said I wouldn't take that either. He said I could wait a few days and see what happens, but not to wait too long. Then he did another ultrasound and said he still sees the sac, but nothing in it and it hasn't grown. I also started feeling some cramping this morning like AF was coming. Sure enough, there was some bleeding when he removed the probe. So then he said he believes that I'll begin bleeding heavily in the next couple of days and that this will resolve on its own. YAY!!! So, my prayers may have been answered....hoping this goes smoothly. I asked about cytotec again to help it happen faster, but he seemed to not know anything about it....saying the pregnancy was in my uterus and cytotec wouldn't help that (Um....what?!!!) Anyways....hopefully this will all be a distant memory soon and we can get back to babymaking..

I am so glad I stuck to my guns and trusted my gut throughout this whole ordeal. I probably have some notes in my file about being difficult...but whatever... I am so glad that this is almost finally over....because then we can TTC for real! Hopefully we can get an August baby, or September.

I hope the bleeding doesn't last as long as it did in September, and things get back on track with my cycle.

So happy for you! It seems weird to rejoice in bleeding, but I know you just want this ordeal to be over. I'm glad you held firm about your treatment.

KUP!

Ya for bleeding...like was stated before weird to say that but I know what you mean I was happy to finally start bleeding so we can move on from this and start trying again! Are you going to give yourself a cycle or two before TTC again? I have been trying to decide myself.

Nope... I'm not waiting. I'm too impatient to wait. My goal is to be pregnant before the end of 2011. The sooner the better.

Question....would this be considered AF or a second miscarriage bleed? I haven't bled since Sept. 26., and from what I've read its not considered AF unless you've had 20 days of no bleeding...which I've had. But I had rising HCG. So I'm confused.

It really feels like AF, and not like the miscarriage...but who knows! Between the miscarriage and BFing, my hormones are all over the place.

I've never heard that about 20 days being necessary for it to be considered AF. I don't know what to tell you about whether to consider this m/c bleeding or AF. In the end, it doesn't really matter. Just start using OPK's as soon as your bleeding subsides if you're wanting to TTC again immediately. Good luck!

If they still see a sac then I would not count this as AF. You have so much willpower, I would not have been able to hold out this long. You are a strong woman for sticking to your beliefs with this. ((hugs))

Good for you for sticking to your guns. I had the same thing with my numbers going up slowly and they have finally started to go down but had only gone done 10 points the last time we checked. We check again on Monday so I am hoping they are back down.

Are you going to wait until your numbers are back to 0 or do they not check you anymore? My OB is constantly checking me each week until my numbers are back to 0.

I've been getting checked 1-2 times per week for the past 6 weeks. I will go get checked again in one week. I imagine they'll check me every week til it goes down enough. I'll also monitor it with HPTs and OPKs to stay sane between blood tests... i got lots of the cheapies from Amazon.com for that.

I did start bleeding like he predicted...although it's nowhere near as heavy as the miscarriage was in Sept. Then I had blood just pouring out of me. This is more like AF, and its not clotted either. I am beginning to wonder if the so called gest. sac he thought he saw was really just a blood clot or something, because I didn't see the double decidual sign, looking back at the image. And I'm wondering if this s is just AF.

I guess if it lasts more than 5-6 days then I'll consider it a 2nd miscarriage bleed.

My numbers are dropping...yay.

693 last Thurs. 438 this Thurs. So things are working in my favor now. Hopefully it will speed up and drop faster. I'll go back again in a week for another HCG draw. Man, I've been to the lab so many times, the outpatient registration people know me

I pray for below 5 in 2 weeks or less. I can't take this wait much longer!! It's making me go nuts, because all I want is the *chance* of TTC again.

Glad they are going down, hope they continue to go faster for you. Mine had gone from 273 to 143 by last Monday which had been a week. I go in again on Monday and I am hoping they are pretty close to 0 if not all the way gone. My spotting has also gone on off and on since my major bleeding stopped on the 23rd.
