Okay so I got my HCG lvls checked today and I guess my doctors office has learned I am a very nuerotic person and even without me asking they put STAT on my results, LOL. My lvls are now down from 47 on Monday to 9 this morning! Should be at normal lvl soon. NOW for my dilema. And I know others have asked this but I gotta ask myself. I m/c back in Feb/March/April (it took that long) and we had not continued to TTC after it. We started TTC again last month or the month before. So there is at least 5 months btwn this m/c and last one. My doctor said he would advice me to wait for 2 cycles to try again. Well hell I didn't try again for 5 months and I STILL m/c so would it really matter now? AND my doctor who delivered my first son whom I totally ador but has since retired said if a m/c happens naturally (no sx or meds needed) we could try right away without waiting. If we do try again in November and I do get a BFP I just KNOW I will get an evil eye from my new doctor, lol. /sigh I just don't know what to do...
oh btw did I mention not only am I neurotic, I am indecisive, ocd, and a perfectionist yet a procrastinator, but when I know what I want I want it now and will obsess over it until it happens? I don't know how my family ever puts up with me, LOL!

I can relate to the "i know what i want I want it now and will obsess over it until happens". lol. That's me!
That being said... I'd personally go for it. You're no more or less likely to have another m/c if you wait or go for it right away.
And if you're new doc gives you the evil eye, ignore it. My old OB gave me **** and a lecture when I declined b/c after having my first baby...saying.."you know you can get pregnant right"...uh, duh...that's the plan. lol.

Could we be twins separated at birth?
It kind of sounds to me like you've already made up your mind. My hCG dropped back to 0 within a week of my m/c, so we jumped right back on the TTC train. I'm 2 DPO today, and I definitely have mixed feelings about it. I just felt everything happened naturally, the hCG never progressed like it should have, my body healed quickly, I was emotionally ready... so why not. However, I definitely see the benefit to waiting 1 full cycle.
That wasn't the best advice, huh? Yeah, I'm indecisive, too.

Oh lovely! I am not the only crazy girl out there. Its always nice to find more like me in this world
I think I will track my ovulation and see if I at least ovulate around the "normal" time. If that happens then and my husband happens to not pull out and I get pg well then leture me away doc! My lvls have dropped VERY rapidly compaired to my previous two m/c. My first one I had two rounds of the medication and nothing happend nor was my body letting it go or showing signs of doing so. I ended up with the d&c. Second time my body took forever, as I previously mentioned. This time it was very fast and natural about 4 days maybe 5 (tomorrow will be 5). My numbers today were at 9 so I can't imagine it would take long now to be a 5 or under. THANKS LADIES! Gonna play by ear and see how my ovulation is.
Oh I told my husband we might have to take a month off and he thought I ment not having sex AT ALL! He about went crazy on me, LOL> Men! Seesh.

Just found your triplet over here Isn't it funny how you can be all those things that contradict each other at once?!
I am still on the fence of when to try again. DH really want to listen to the doctor, but I told him how many doctors opinions differ. Like the two different answers you got. So, I'm not sure if I should listen to my brain or my heart. That's always my toughest battle.

I finally found my long-lost twin Honestly, if you feel ready I would go for it. I waited one cycle after a D&C but that was surgery. Oh and sweetie the doctor works FOR you, not the other way around. I think people forget that sometimes. You pay him for his expertise and advice but he doesn't get to make choices for you Good luck!

I fall on the side if you are ready go for it. Your doctor may give you 'the evil eye' for getting pregnant too soon according to them, but it's not like they can do anything about it. Mine even told me he recommended 2 months but if I showed up before then- not a big deal.

I would track you r ovulation with the OPKs like you mentioned and if everything seems to be falling into it's place I say go for it... I waited for two months and really wish I could pull back time... I feel like I've wasted precious time... after the two month a had a long long long cycle that ended up to be an annovulatory cycle ... no ovulation... If that egg drops go and catch it....

[QUOTE=.:Shortcake:.;25096795] After miscarriage, don't wait before trying again - Health - Pregnancy - msnbc.com
Thanks for the article! I love how they always throw in the "catch" at the end of stuff. In this case using "more sophisticated hospitals" for better results. Lol. I think I'm gonna go for it. Besides chances are we won't catch it if it drops. If I ovulate middle week its gonna be harder. My Dh is still out of town during the week until the end of November. Surprised we had already gotten pg tbh!!! My bleeding has even been almost just like my normal AF just late.
All of you ladies are so wonderful and I'm very grateful I found this site and decided to join.

I was exactly how you were with my first miscarriage which happened naturally I tried again ASAP and well ended up pregnant but ended up miscarrying then got pregnant 1 more cycle later and lost that one. Now I'm all about waiting. I had my last loss in January and recently found out I am pregnant. This pregnancy is progressing better then all my other ones, HCG doubling perfect, symptoms, etc. I truly believe waiting helped me.
But needless to say I have heard of women who get pregnant right after MC and have healthy babies. I was just saying my personal opinion. If I miscarry this one I'll wait a couple cycles before trying again.
