I only watch it here and there, but caught tonights episode. I was so happy to hear that their IVF went through and their surrogate got pregnant. But that last minute where I saw them flash 6 weeks later my heart just sank I could just see the pain in her eye's, so fresh like mine was a few weeks ago. Just made me so sad

Ohhh I used to watch it but I never find it any more. Ahh.. don't tell me she lost it I'll have to see if I can find it somewhere to DL. And don't be sad.. *hugs* It might sound cheezy but I believe our little beans keep coming back to us until they stick. It's what gets me through my loss. I know soon I'll get them back.

I did not see it but then again I don't really watch that show. Seeing others going through what I'm going through breaks my heart even more.

I do watch that show and the ending shocked me. I started crying for her. You could see the raw pain in her face. I understood exactly what she was feeling at that moment. To TTC for 2+ years and then loose the pregnancy at a little over 6 weeks is depressing. I did not expect that.

I also watched it and cried like a little baby. I could not believe that she got pregnant only to lose the baby.

I wonder how the surrogate is handling the loss. This is awful and my heart is breaking for both couples. I have so much respect for surrogates.

I saw it and it broke my heart. It seemed as though everything was going perfect in their life then this... It just shows that everyone is human and even these things happen to celebrities and DR's.

i dvr'd it so just watched it...oh it broke my heart for them, after everything they've been through to then suffer a m/c As with everything in their lives, they had such a positive, inspirational attitude about trying again, I really hope in the next season we see a successful pregnancy for them.

Missy - it was so hard to see that last segment...you described it exactly "raw pain"...so sad, so heartbreaking for them since it took them almost 2 years to get that pregnancy

I did want to say that is it just me or are they starting to show more TV shows/movies that include losses.

What other shows/movies have showed losses? I think there was one in Army Wives a season or two ago. I have just been noticing more shows in general that are relating to different religions/lifestyles/etc.
But though too last year it was all the rage for celebrities to get pregnant and see who could gain the least amount of weight and who could lose it the fastest. So, maybe they are just showing some of the losses too

The Secret Life of the American Teenager had a stillborn episode. And even the programs on TLC baby stories are people who have had losses. Army Wives had one. There have been others too just can't think of them off the top of my head. It used to be a taboo subject and now it isn't.

I totally forgot about the Secret Life one. I watch that show randomly and when I saw that episode coming I couldn't watch it, that was prior to my loss too. You're right it is such a taboo thing, but sadly it happens far too often.

Don't forget about Guilliana and Bill... The last season is of thier struggles with IVF... I think because we are dealing with TTC the thought is fresh in our heads and tend to notice more of what is going on around us that relates.

Greys Anatomy had a miscarriage a couple seasons ago. I, too, was sad for the "little couple." It is painful to have to go through it...and I am sure it was amplified with it all being on TV (granted, I know it is their choice, but I am sure it made it harder). I am very grateful they did not "gloss" over it, but showed the pain it caused them. Even though we don't want someone to experience that pain, I think it is far better to show how it really feels than to pretend all is fine.
