Hey everyone, my name is Shannon and I live in Tennessee with my Hubby and our 2 year old little boy. DH and I had been TTC since last November and on October 13th I got my BFP! We were SO excited and didn't plan on telling anyone but neither one of us could keep a secret. I had zero complications with my son Miles and everything was PERFECT so I figured this time around would be the same. WRONG! This past Friday the 28th when I was supposed to be 6 weeks pregnant I woke up and was bleeding :-\ When we went to the Dr and got an u/s and blood work we found that there was a sac with fluid but no sign of a heartbeat yet and my hcg count was only 391 which was extremely low for 6 weeks! Monday I went back to the Dr for them to do my hcg count again and it had fallen from 391 to 100. I go back the 7th to make sure my numbers have gone back to 0 and to make sure that I've stopped bleeding! DH and I want to start trying again right away!! How long have you guys waited since your loss to try again?

Im so sorry for your loss. I had my loss in the beginning of August and we started trying in late October. My doctor recommended one full cycle before trying again so that is what we did.

I wish you luck, let us know how the next appt goes!

I am so very sorry for your loss. My doctor told us to wait 1 cycle for dating purposes but told us there was no medical reason to wait so after all of my losses I've tried again right away. I hope you get your sticky bean soon!

I am ss for your loss! I hope you get your sticky bean soon!

We waited 1 cycle after the loss with our 1st and had DD who is very healthy, my doc said to wait 2 cycles, but that is mostly for dating purposes.

So sorry for your loss.

I'm Adrienne (32), and DH is William (31), and we're in our fourth cycle of TTC #1 after an early loss last cycle.

My loss was sooner than yours, and my hCG dropped quickly. It was back to zero within a week of the m/c. So we decided not to wait a cycle. I know exactly when I ovulated, so dating the pregnancy (knock on wood) won't be a problem for us.

It sounds like your body is getting back to normal quickly, but you'll know emotionally when you're ready to start again. Good luck to you.

I am so sorry for your loss.
My DR told me after all my losses there is no reason to wait. But after one of my losses I got pregnant back to back with no A/F and it ended up being ectopic. I had no clue how far I was and it made the situation dangerous with trying to find it on ultrasound and choosing what to do.
So for personal reasons I say wait for one A/F.

I'm sorry for your loss

I'm Tina (31) and my DH Jared (soon 30) lost our first 5w in due to an eptopic rupture. I had to heal from surgery and build my blood back up after losing over 1.5L so for us we had to wait a little more. But mostly they say following a loss to take a full cycle before you try again. I hope you get your sticky bean soon And welcome!

welcome to the group Shannon, so very sorry for your loss

After my 1st loss (w/D&C) we waited a two cycles and then got pregnant 3rd cycle of TTCing with DD. I've just had a second loss (completed naturally) and we'll be waiting until Jan to TTC, so about 2-3 cycles depending on when AF eventually returns.

Good luck to you - i hope you have a very short wait for your BFP!!
