I have a bunch of the cheap HCG strip tests from the accurate pregnany tests site. Yesterday morning,(13-14DPO) I saw a very faint line and I couldn't believe my eyes. But I think it was later than the 5 minute mark. Then yesterday evening I tried again and again saw a very faint line (even less then in the AM), but when I read the instructions I realized that I had kept the strip in the urine for too long (10-15 seconds rather than 3 seconds). So this morning I followed the instructions more correctly and I didn't get a positive right away, but after I went back to check in 10-15 minutes there was a faint line again.
I just tried again(a couple of hours later) and this time did not get anything even after 5 or 10 minutes. In your experience, do all of these results sound like a false positive? I just never ever saw any lines on these before, that's why I was kind of shocked to see a faint line to begin with.

I'm in absolute shock! I just took a clearblue test and it immediately said "pregnant"! Is this really happening? I haven't been taking any vitamins or anything for a while now, have been so down about this whole thing.
So I guess it is possible for the test to show positive ene if after the 5 minute mark.
