ok so there's not a lot of benefits to not being pregnant (especially when you're TTC) but there are some things we can do that we otherwise couldn't....

I took a bubble bath at 104 degrees yesterday!

I think tomorrow I may have some cold sandwich meat...or maybe some soft cheese...

What have you done? And if you haven't done anything....do something, and report back!

I've not really done anything naughty. However, since AF showed yesterday, I am actually going to drink while I'm at this conference. We have several receptions and dinners, and I want to enjoy. (It's been a long time since I had a drink!)

Literally just minutes after I posted that last response, I had a knock on my hotel door. They brought me a complimentary bottle of wine and a spread of cheese, fruit, nuts, and crackers. And, yes, there is soft cheese. Cheers!

As soon as my miscarriage started a couple weeks ago DH bought me a 2 liter of Dr. Pepper, I started drinking coffee each morning again and went out drinking last weekend

And went to subway and had my sandwich regular, not toasted. Yum!

Margaritas. I've literally not even cared even after O whether I drink or not. If a pregnant woman can have a glass of wine every night with dinner while pregnant and give birth to a healthy baby, I should be able to have a drink after O.

What a great thread!! I love that you have had us think about something positive during TTC!! I have definitely allowed myself to drink...mainly before O. I will sometimes drink after O, but only until 7DPO, then I stop...just in case. Then of course, the day AF shows up, I indulge! I would LOVE to not be able to drink anything for 9 months though! I have thought about Christmas and what I'll do if I'm pregnant. Generally, I go to my mom's house & we have champagne and brie all day. If I'm pregnant, I won't be able to have either...plus it'll be too early for me to tell my mom about the pregnancy so I would have to figure out how to get around that.

Right after my miscarriage started we were going out of town to see family. I had quite a few drinks. For the first time in 17 months I wasn't pregnant or breastfeeding, and I guess I decided to take advantage of it. I've had a few glasses of wine or beers here and there. Once I O, I'll stop though.
