Personally, how long would you or how long have you waited to TTC after your loss(es)?

I have not waited at all. My doctor wanted me to wait one cycle for dating purposes but told me there is no medical reason for me to wait so I never did. It's more of an individual thing as well. You have to make sure you not just physically but emotionally ready to try.

My doc told me to wait one cycle so that is what I did. I agree with Katie, I think a lot of it is if you are emtionally ready.

I've never waited. My doc and midwife have always said it's ok to start right away if you're emotionally ready.

I had the early loss two cycles ago. Since my hCG went back to normal very quickly, I tried again the next cycle. Obviously that didn't end the way I wanted it to. So I kind of wish I would have waited one full cycle. I think the two biggest factors are hCG levels and emotional readiness.

If it was up to me, I don't think we would have waited this cycle. But DH wanted to wait, so currently we have waited one cycle and will see what AF brings. If things seem "normal" we will discuss TTC again. (Our loss was 6 1/2 weeks and hcg went down 2 weeks after m/c)

after D&C with first loss, we essentially waited only 2 cycles but it was over 3 months (AF took a long time to return). I definitely needed a couple of months emotionally, but would have started probably a month earlier if i'd had my way interestingly, i think DH would have waited even longer - he was very nervous to start trying again, maybe more so even than i was.

after this loss (which was natural) i was ready to TTC again immediately (and so was DH), but Dr has convinced us to wait until Jan and we're running some RPL testing at the end of Nov.

We didn't wait at all after my m/c. It took a while for my HCG to get back to zero, but as soon as I had one regular cycle we started trying again and did another IUI within a couple months. After Daniel's birth, we did use condoms for a short period of time because my body had really been through it. My doctor suggested waiting 6 months to get my iron back up to normal, but we didn't want to miss any window of opportunity, so once I felt like I could handle it we started trying again. (Although... even though I feel like I could emotionally handle it now ((I think!)), I still have some pain from the c-section, which worries me a little.)

I was ready to start trying right away. We started trying two weeks after my natural miscarriage but I'm guessing I already o'd so I missed it. My doc told me to wait three cycles but I'm only waiting after one, which is this one I started today so as soon as it's over we are trying again , hopefully this one sticks!

After my first m/c, we waited two cycles because my body just felt off. After my second m/c, since it was a chemical pregnancy, I felt back to normal much quicker. We had planned to wait one cycle, but our anniversary hit right when I ovulated for the first time after the m/c and we threw caution to the wind. I'm just starting my 3rd cycle after my second m/c. We're actively TTC, but didn't manage to get pregnant this past cycle. I think it is really a personal choice as to when you start TTC again. There is no cut and dry answer as to what is "right".

I had a D&C so we waited one cycle per my doctor's suggestion.
