I took another FRER this morning and it wasn't any darker than yesterdays, so of course I can't stop thinking about it. Is that bad? Im calling my doc to see when I can sched BW but they don't open for another hour.

You really can't rely on the darkness of the test this early. I know it's scary that's why once I get a positive I don't keep testing. The blood work is what really matters as far as the doubling. I would say don't take any more tests, go get the blood work done and go from there.

(ps can you please edit your title and put *preg. ment.* thank you

Ok, thanks. Maybe I should stop testing. I have just read some people taking more to make sure it got darker but I think its messing with my head.

Yep, I agree with Katie. The amount of dye in tests can vary. Especially during the first few days of pregnancy, you can see a total variety on your tests. You should just relax (I know... easier said than done).

I agree, I would stop testing, especially this early on. Good luck with the bloodwork!

Tests vary, plus I would not rely on those dollar tree tests too much for comparison with a FRER. After I got my positive, I went and got blood work, which was only a 40 and I was just barely 4 weeks if that. Everyone kept telling me that it was too low for how far along I was and blah blah blah. Anyway, to get my point across, I refused any other b/w and just enjoyed the fact that I was pregnant. It took so much stress away. Don't stress the tests too much.

I definitely agree with the others, stop testing. It adds stress that you do not need.

You can not rely on the darkness. I did not take anyones advise and kept testing, the tests never did get as dark as I thought they should and everything was just fine.

Tons of sticky dust!

I think that your fears will be alleviated with the bloodwork. Don't stress yourself out unnecessarily. Best of luck!! Hugs!

Thanks girls. It means a lot coming from you all who have been through this. I got BW done this morning and waiting results - but they said they can't tell much until I come back in 2 days for more BW to see how my numbers go.

You ladies are so wonderful
