Spotting at 4 DPO-Anyone Have This Happen?

This is the first time I've ever spotted during the 2ww. I know it's too early to have implantation bleeding at 4 DPO, but do any of you have any ideas of what else it could be? I haven't done anything that could irritate anything up in there and it's also too early for AF. Has this happened to any of you? Thanks ladies!!!

I did the month before I got pregnant and the month that I got pregnant this last time. It wasn't painful and it was just there when I went to the bathroom. I think it only lasted around a day each month.

Wow, that is a head scratcher... I have heard of implantation bleeding happening a little early but not 4 dpo. Good luck though!

Thanks ladies! I still have spotting today and my temps are lower than usual (although still above the CL) so I am totally baffled. If I'm having a super short LP, I'm going to totally freak out. Even if it is that, I never even have spotting before AF...she always just shows up in full force. I have tried to find info online, but I can't find anything concrete. I'm tempted to call my doctor's office, but I don't want to sound like some kind of crazed patient. I hate it when things happen that totally aren't normal.

(I just realized that I used "totally" a lot in that paragraph)

Interesting...mine is like that too. This happened on 4 DPO for you?

I'm not sure but I would call your doctor... Maybe they had other patients in the same scenario and have an easy answer for you. This way it can ease your mind.... Fingers Crossed that it's nothing...

I think there's nothing wrong with calling your doctor, hopefully they can give you some good answers!!! I'm curious to see what you find out.

I have never had that happen Sarah but I hope that everything is okay. I don't think your dr. would mind if you gave the nurse a call and just asked. They know how hard you have been trying to get pregnant.

So, I called my doctor yesterday and she isn't concerned at this point. I am still spotting....so going on 4 days now. It got a little heavier yesterday but still not enough to be considered AF type flow. Today it's lighter so far. I really wish I knew what was going on. If I'm having a short LP and it's going to be AF, then fine...but I want to know for sure so I can get on the ball preparing for my IUI.
