Has anyone tried them? I am not wanting to have to pay out a bunch of money for OPK. I am thinking about getting it and buying a cheap bulk test kit OPK (ebay) to see how everything is going matched up to the saliva tests. Because I not only want to start trying to conceive but my doctor told me that most women don't ovulate after the first menstrual cycle after a miscarriage.

What I am talking about: Amazon.com: Ovulite Unlimited Testing Personal Ovulation Microscope: Health & Personal Care

What do yall think I should do?

I have not used them. I use these OPK's from amazon that work wonderfully and they are only $10 for 50 of them.

I've never used the saliva kits either, but I have thought about it. I do the same as Katie & buy the urine test kits. I don't exactly agree with your doctor. I think some women ovulate the cycle after a miscarriage and some don't. I've never heard that most don't.

I've used one off and on for several years.
It's a good tool once you figure out how to actually see what's going on...
I learned to hold the lens to my eye and lower the slide (as if using a microscope).
It definitely works for me!!!

Let me know if you need any help...

Idk if he was telling me that so that I would wait to try until my second menstrual cycle or what. I know most things I have read that there is no medical reason to wait if you are emotionally ready. I also think I wouldn't have a period if everything wasn't back to normal?
