could I actually be 8 dpo? or am I 4 dpo? or is this annov?

I had a rough time with several + looking opks - but I think that is the PCOS coming into play.

I have had several days of ewcm, and I am just not sure what to think.

usually by this time in my cycle I am a stark raving loonatic and can't control the PMS - so far this cycle not so much...

any input? chart in sig...

Oh geez...that's a tough one. I definitely think you ovulated because there is a temp shift. I would be inclined to say you are 8 DPO because of that +OPK, but if it wasn't for that, I would say 4 DPO. If you think the +OPK is from PCOS, then I'd guess you are 4 DPO. I hate having confusing charts. It makes this whole thing even more frustrating.

With PCOS you can have elevated LH levels that's why they tell you not to rely on the OPK's alone so it's really hard to say. Could you call your doctor and have your Progesterone & Estrodial levels checked? That will verify that you ovulated and make sure your levels are where they should be. My doctor told me a lot of PCOS women have low Estrodial levels after ovulation and need a supplement.

I am still looking for a practice, just going to the doctor is somewhat complicated for me! LOL don't have a family doctor, haven't found OB/GYN I like yet.

I played with my chart, and took out the ewcm - maybe I was misinterpreting it, I was marking down the most fertile cm - no matter how little was there, so maybe that is what was throwing things off...

the thermal shift of pretty obvious, so going off that I am 8dpo. I guess we will see.

It really sucks with the PCOS because it makes things 10x harder to figure out your own body. I hope you can find a doctor soon too. I think that is a huge thing for me is having a doctor that I trust.

You and I are similar, probably because we both have PCOS. I have up and down temps, too; but I do notice a shifting trend in your chart, even with all the up and down. I see what you mean about possibly being 4dpo, although your CM would indicate differently. Now in my case, I had a positive OPK three days ago, and I had EWCM, but my temp again has gone up and down one more time, and then today it started to climb again, and FF thinks I'm 2dpo.

Honestly, I would go with 4dpo for you just to be on the side of caution, and I would wait longer to test. Hope that helps.

You're welcome! I'm still pretty new to all this charting stuff, but I've been studying how my body works with PCOS for over 10 years. It's all so interesting to see how our bodies work! Good luck to you!!! I'm looking forward to seeing how things go for you.
