Just a quick question....when did AF start when you took Provera?

I am supposed to take 10mg for 10 days, but everytime I have taken it, AF showed within 48 hours of taking the first dose??? Weird because AF is supposed to start from the drop in progesterone after finishing the full dosage, right? I'm confused. I have taken it on 4 different occasions and EVERY time I started within a day or 2 after first pill. I'm trying to plan ahead for my stupid copay for my day 3 ultrasound. Lol and now I'm undecided as when to start taking it. Ugh

For me it has varied. A few times it didn't start until after I finished the pills and other times I got it while taking them and the doctor said to finish out the dosage. She said sometimes your progesterone isn't that high to begin with and when you start those it just throws your body for a loop. Hope that helps hun.

I had to use Provera because I needed my cycle to start... I took 10mg for 10 days as well and AF showed up deferently each time that I have used it. One time it was a week after all my doses were complete and then the other was the following day after finishing the dosage. I never really thoguht if AF showed up in the middle of your doses to either stop or to complete... I would ask your Doctor... The good thing is that at least AF showed up though.....Good Luck.
