I think my miscarriage drama is finally over, two whole months after it began. I started bleeding for the second time 15 days ago. On Saturday I finally passed a large piece of tissue. It looked like the placenta to me. Yes, gross, but I examined it. I have still been bleeding but it has slowed down significantly to almost spotting so I think its ending now. I took a hpt and opk on sunday and both were much lighter than in recent weeks. I took opk and hot again 15 min ago and both are negative. Yay!!!!! So excited that now we can really TTC again. I have a question though..what day would be considered CD 1??? Today? Should i expect to ovulate in about 2 weeks now that hcg is not detectable? I hope I'm back on track quickly...I'd love an August baby .

Finally! You've been through so much!! I counted my first day of my M/C as CD 1 for the first cycle, but I actually ended up deleting that cycle out of FF when I got my actual AF because it was messing up my current cycle. I only used the M/C as a first cycle to help me keep track of things, but I changed everything when I got normal. Keep track of your temps and your CM and take OPKs to see if you O or not. Before I got my first AF after the M/C I wasn't sure if I was O'ing or not... it was confusing, and I hear that that's common, so don't be surprised if before you get your first AF everything will be wonky. I had to wait until my first AF was done and for this current cycle to really TTC reliably...
but when you're ready, go for it! I hope that helps

Glad things are finally over and you can start trying again. As far as CD 1 I counted that as the first day of my M/C. And as far as ovulation it really varies, so women don't O after a loss until after their first AF, some O right away, some 2 weeks and sometimes later. If you want to know I would suggest using OPK's.

Yea, I've got lots of OPKs, and I'll probably be using those. If I were to go by first day of miscarriage...that'd mean I should be ovulating right now as I usually do so around CD 15/16, so I don't think I can do that. Guess it's just a wait and see.......oh well, my dh has been cut off for awhlie, so I don't think it will be any problem trying to get enough dtd in.

I'm so glad things are finally over for you so you can move on! Ditto what Katie said. I think everyone's cycle after a m/c is different and they can be really wierd. Good luck sweetie!

I think opks are great to keep track of what's going. I think I O'ed CD 24 right after m/c. I normally O on CD 17 or 18. So, be patient and monitor your CM!

So glad it's finally over! Good luck to you this cycle. I think a bunch of us need to join the August DDC.
