Anyone interested in having a chat thread? Sometimes I just want to come here and say hi or something dumb but don't want to start an entire new thread....
Anyway, just wanted to say good morning! Both girls have school today so during my hour and 15 mins of alone time Im going to go visit my friend who just had a baby and then hit up the grocery store. Its also Riley's picture day at school so wish me luck trying to get her to let me do something with her hair! LOL. Its always crazy when she wakes up.
What are you doing today?

I think that's a great idea! It would be a good place for us to just share random thoughts or events.
It sounds like you've got a busy day. I hope visiting your friend and her baby isn't too tough on you. I know it's always kind of bittersweet for me to be around a baby.
Today, I'm taking it easy for the most part. I just rented Bridesmaids from PPV, so I'm going to watch that in a little bit. Then I've got some chores to do. Kind of a boring day really. I hope the movie is as funny as it looks.

I thought it was a great idea and I tried it twice lol. Both times it lasted about a week or two and then it kind of died because people forgot about it I guess. But I'm up for it again if you ladies want one

I like the idea of having a chat thread as well I'm at home sick and with AF full force on day 1 (whatever happened to my super light flow on cd1?) Going to watch a dvd later on. A few weeks ago i downloaded Hop and it seems really cute
Started a new regime this cycle. Since clomid is out of question I'm doing soy and lemon water and we'll see what happens.

Well have no fear, Im here LOL - I will try to keep it going, even if I end up chatting with myself. This is my only adult interaction throughout the day so I enjoy chat threads.
I thought Bridesmaids was really funny and even funnier the second time. Let me know what you think about it!
Good luck with the soy and lemon water - let me know how Hop is and what age it is appropriate for. Riley (my 3 almost 4 year old) saw previews and wanted to watch it.
I have no idea what anyone's name is who doesn't have it in their siggy. If you dont care to have people know your name please put it at the end of your post so I can try to learn it! LOL
Im Lindsey or you can call me Linds, Lindz, whatever

Will surely do I love cartoons Over here we didn't get and I found it sort of by mistake last month. From the trailer it seems really cute
Btw my name is Anna
Thanks! I need all the luck I can get. I want a baby so badly We're going to do soy only for this cycle (OB is against it - I literally had to beg to be allowed to do it) then we switch to Gonal F - that will be fun a diabetic needle phobic having to inject myself 5 times daily!! :/

I just finished it and I actually found it to be really depressing (I even cried) with some really funny parts mixed in. I absolutely LOVED Melissa McCarthy though. She was so freaking hysterical!!
Oh, and my name is Sarah for those of you who don't know already.

My name is Katie (for those of you who don't know me )
I have not saw Bridesmaids yet but it is next on our Netfix list to come to our house
Can I play sick and leave work early? I would not know what to do without the stress of this place. Ugh!!!

My day is a bummer. I am so sick! I have a terrible sore throat that has been building over the past few days. And it is really bad today. I hardly ever get sick, so I'm really annoyed by having to just take it easy. And it hurts! I'm such a baby.
On the bright side, I'll be bundled up watching TV all day instead of stuck in my office.

Sarah, I agree there are some sad parts in it for sure. But the funny parts had me rolling. Melissa McCarthy was on Ellen the other day and it was hysterical. Did you see it? If not I will tell you the story she told.
Adrienne, so sorry you are sick. Do you think it was from being around so many people at the conference? Feel better!
Liz, what do you do?
Gotta run and pick up Riley from school. I hope the rain breaks for a second so I don't get drenched again! I just had to carry the groceries in from the pouring rain.

I'm in the same boat as you! The jobs around here are few and far between right now so I've been searching high and low trying to get out of this place.

It's raining here too! I hate the rainy weather especially when it's chilly outside. I was going to get groceries after work but that might have to wait until tomorrow night now.
I'm sitting here at work and can barely keep my eyes open. Not sure if it's the dreary day or something else but I'd love a nap right about now.

Just finished watching it. It was really good I thought that it was going to be cartoonish but it wasn't. Re Riley watching it I think it is apppropriate for kids but am not sure about a 4 year old. Guess she'll need someone older to watch it with her just in case. But there's nothing in it that would stop me from not allowing my kids (When I'll have any) to watch it

Katie, are you going to test or just wait around to see if AF comes? I just noticed you were 15 DPO. Do you have normal cycles? And I get the same way when its dark, cold and rainy - I just want to snuggle up in bed and watch a movie.
So my oldest, Riley, has been having some sort of stomach issue. Two weeks ago we had to go to the ER because she had bad stomach pains. She hasn't eaten since then - she will only drink Pediasure and occasionally have some yogurt. She has had x-rays and an upper GI which were both clear.
Well today she has refused even a single drop of liquid. She hasn't peed since this morning, her head feels hot and she is acting whiney and frustrated. We are going to the doctor at 4 when she wakes from her nap. I have no clue what is going on with this poor child but I hope they figure it out. She is such an amazing eater (salmon, couscous, veggies, fruits, hummus etc) its just breaking my heart that she will only drink things - she wont even eat candy or popsicle!

Thanks for the review! I love watching kid movies so I will watch it with her. We were just watching Beauty and Beast before her nap

I work in a law firm as a paralegal/legal assistant. I love working in law, I'm just fed up with the office and the higher ups.

Yeah, I've been looking but nothing really worth applying for. Living in NYC makes the competitive field hard. I only have my AAS and I'm currently working towards my BA. So I'm out there competing with people who already have their BA's, 10+ years experience and are willing to work for practically peanuts. The way it stands now, the only jobs I truly qualify for pay lower than what I'm already making. They want to start people with 4 year degrees below 30K, I made that as a receptionist, I'm not going to take that much of a pay cut just to get out of here.
