I know a few of you told me when but I forget. I started bleeding last Sunday so today it has been one week. So is last Sunday CD1? So am I on CD 7 today??? When should I start OPKs?
If I am only doing 1 OPK per day at first what time should I take it?
When should I start using 2 OPKs per day? Or do you all end up using 3 per day? LOL, sorry I just have no clue.

Since the cycle after an early loss can be a little wacky, I would suggest using the OPKs now.
You don't want to use OPKs first thing in the morning because the LH metabolizes later in the day. So it's ideal to use them in the afternoon, but the LH surge should be detected just fine between 10am and 6pm. I usually start testing twice per day when I get fertile CM. That strategy hasn't failed me yet.
Good luck to you.

Ok, thanks Adrienne. I will start taking them tomorrow and I will do it after I put my girls down for their nap at 1 so I remember to do it at the same time.
So do you think I am on CD 7 today? I know its whacky and not for sure but is that how I should kind of think of it? Or should I just forgo the numbers and just go by OPKs.

I counted the first day of bleeding from the m/c as CD 1, so I think you're right for thinking you're CD 7.

I just wanted to add that you will want to make sure you limit your fluids so you have a good concentration of urine when you start taking the OPK's. I try to limit liquids/hold my urine for about 2-3 hours before I test.
Good luck!!!!

When do you normally O? I tend to O anywhere between cd12-16, so I start around cd10. I like to start testing around between 2-4pm, the closer I get to O, I move on to twice a day, at 11 am then again around 6 or 7pm. I also test out the positive. I normally surge for 2 days, this time I surged for 3. Guess it's cause of the miscarriage.

I've read that depending on if you know how long your cycle usually is... "O" is in the middle.... ex.. 28 cycle day then you may possibly "O"on cd14... That's for someone who is regular... For me... I'm all over the place.... I wait till my cm is wet/creamy to test.. when your cm is eggwhitish then you know you are about to "O"... sometimes if you know if you have a history of annovulatory cycles (cycles with no "O")... Now is a good time to est though... Good Luck!

Adrienne already gave you awesome advice (and i didn't even know not to use them in early AM...so i was lucky i just took them in early evening by chance...good to know for when we start TTC again...)
if you don't mind spending on extra OPKs, i totally agree with starting early....I always did being paranoid I'd miss it if cycle was a little whacky...what kind of OPKs are you using? I hate reading lines so I did the CBE (i think?) with the little happy baby face...
Good luck - i hope this is your lucky cycle!!

If you want to save some $ but want the assurance that you're reading the OPKs correctly, I know a lot of women will use the cheapies until they think they have a positive and then back it up with a digi.
