How is everyone feeling about the holiday fast approaching? For me I'm both excited and bummed.

I'm bummed because I'd be about 16 weeks now and I was so excited to be showing a little by the holidays, instead I'm just going to be bloated from all the food .

On a positive note I made a pretty awesome cheeseball that looks like a turkey! I'm also looking forward to our traditional Drumstick Dash that I run with my dad eah year. 4.5 miles of turkey blasting running at 9am Thanksgiving morning The weather is even supposed to be nice here, unlike last year's freezing rain.

I'm not looking forward to it at all. I should be around 8 weeks, not waiting on AF to show.

I'm pretty bummed about the holidays in general. I should be around 8 months pregnant by now and looking forward to having my baby. Instead, I'm sitting here still not pregnant and two more losses since the first. I'm holding out hope that I'll get a BFP that sticks around next month. If I don't, New Years is just going to suck.

Pic, please... of the turkey cheese ball!

I'm a little bummed, too, because I would have been 12 weeks along. When I first got pregnant, I was planning on adding the pregnancy announcement to my Christmas cards. I always mail out my Christmas cards right after Thanksgiving, so it would have been perfect timing. So that has me a little down.

I'm also on target to O on Thanksgiving day, though, so it's a definitely something to be thankful for.

Thanksgiving I'm okay with. I'm actually looking forward to it this year. I've been where you ladies are in the past and it's crappy. However Christmas I'm dreading. It sneaks up on me every year. I should be watching a 2 1/2 year old open his presents and instead I'll be mourning the loss of my angel Noah as December 15th will be 3 years.

This was my first shot at a cheese ball so hopefully it's a hit! Even if it tastes terrible it looks super cute.

That is an awesome turkey cheeseball!!!

As for Thanksgiving.....I could take it or leave it this year. I am happy that I can skip my parents' Thanksgiving without feeling guilty about it..for once they've scaled back and aren't having everyone over...my SIL is having something, but they live an hour and fifteen minutes away and my husband has to work that night so we are not going there either. I think for the first time ever...we will have our own little family Thanksgiving...I'm going to go buy some stuff tomorrow and hope it turns out well!! Its also my daughter's 1st birthday on Thanksgiving this year, so it will be nice to just be alone for a change.

I'm actually nervous about thanksgiving day..I decided that's my testing morning (11dpiui), and this month would just be perfect to get that BFP, even though I am sure it's still a BFN. As for seeing family, I'll be with the in-laws, which is nice and low key, but with the am BFN I'll probably be in a ****** mood. Either way I am excited about gorging myself on tons of food (and possibly drinks), and just overall having a day off!

PS I wish I were that talented to make a turkey cheeseball! So jealous, it's awesome!

a little of both - I am bummed that AF is going to be in town... I am excited to eat the nommy food, but at the same time, I am really missing not having my friends family over...

it's like why am I doing all this work for 2 people?
