Hello ladies, Im Nicole; I think Im ready to join. I am TTC after a loss.. In Oct. my ob told me I had a miscarriage (at about 6wks) a scan and falling hcg confirmed. Fast forward 4wks, I go for a follow up (because I had a bout of pain on my right side) my OB does a repeat ultrasound and confirmed once again that my uterus is empty, but see's a blood clot on my right ovary. He orders a repeat HCG as a precaution.. I was in shock the next day when he calls me himself (he's been my OB for 13yrs and Ive never heard his voice on the phone) and tells me my hcg has increased in the last 4wks.. Turns out I had an ectopic and was 10wks along. I had emergency surgery on 11/4. They removed the pregnancy along with my right tube... Ive got the go ahead to ttc, because of my age (36) I figure I need to jump right back into the game.. Im hopping for a healthy pregnancy and baby ASAP.

Hi, Nicole, and . I believe we were in the June DDC together for a short time. I had an early loss, so I was only there for a week or so. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, but I'm relieved for you that they caught it before a rupture. I'm also so sorry to hear that you've lost your right tube.

I hope you conceive your rainbow baby soon. In the meantime, I look forward to getting to know you.

By the way, I'm Adrienne (32), and I'm in my fifth cycle of TTC #1.

I do remember you Adrienne Im sorry for your loss. Loosing my tube sucks!! I spoke with my OB about clomid, but he wants to wait 3m. He said I am obviously ovulating so he wants to see how it goes.

There's a gal who stops by here sometimes, Tina (TKbunny). She had an ectopic rupture back in June that almost cost her her life. She had her left tube removed. She took 3 months off from TTC, and now she's pg again, her first cycle back TTC.

So it could take you a little longer, but you'll get there. Did you notice prior to the ectopic that you O'd from every other side each cycle?

Well, hopefully there will be a change. And at least your doctor has agreed to Clomid in 3 months.

Yes her story does give much hope for those who have lost a tube. I am sorry for your loss Our loss must have been about the same time because I was due late May and lost our angel at 6 1/2 weeks early October. we are here whenever you need to talk.
