So the past few days my OPKs have barely even showed up and today there was finally some good color to them. It is definitely NOT as dark as the control line but does this mean my body is starting to gear up to O?

Should the line keep getting darker until it is as dark as the control?

After I O does the line start to fade back to getting lighter??

I was really (TMI) dry right when I stopped bleeding and then finally yesterday started getting some CM. Im horrible at telling if its EWCM or whatever eventhough I have read up on it I just suck at figuring it out.

DO you think I will O in the next day or so or can it take a while? Going by when I started the M/C (bleeding) I would be CD15 today. I have always had different cycle lengths so who knows what this one will be. It is typically somewhere around 30 days. Is this normal to O around this time?

Im laughing at my babbling and all my questions. Sorry!

Lindsey, my experience with OPKs is that I always have some color to mine, though faint at the beginning of my cycle. They do start getting darker as I approach O and then turn undeniably positive. However, I know that some women get darker, lighter, darker, lighter, and then just positive. It really depends. And, much like HPTs, the more diluted my urine, the lighter the line will be.

I used to get just a few days of watery and/or EWCM prior to O, but I've had at least a week's worth for the past two cycles. So it's a good sign that you're starting to get CM, but it could still be a few days before it turns into fertile CM.

You're right around the "normal" time in your cycle to O, but if your cycles vary, then it's hard to know for sure. I will keep my fingers crossed that you get your +OPK soon. And I'll lend a pair of eyes if you need them.

I too was wondering if they start to get darker when it gets closer to time. I'm finally getting some good fertile cm but the opks are still pretty light. I think I have a day or two at most.

For me though I usually get a few days of good amount of cm, then a day with gobs of ewcm, and then O...and another day, and then dry up...unless I get pregnant...then it comes back in a couple days.

You can tell if its the ewcm if you can stretch it between your fingers....

I feel like all my CM is stretchy, LOL. Im just so bad and second guess myself if it is or isn't.

Thanks for the advice Adrienne! Once it gets really dark I will post a pic to see what you all think ...well assuming it gets really dark. Who knows if I will O this cycel or not.

Good luck Julie, I hope you O soon!
