I'm 40 days post m/c waiting on AF. Anyone else in this boat still? This is almost worse than the 2WW in my opinion. My last hcg test on 11/14 was still at 114. I've not been back so I'm hoping I'm at zero. I just wish I had any idea at all when to expect AF.
I ordered my OPKs/HPTs over the weekend so when AF shows I'm getting back on the TTC wagon! Bring on the pee sticks!
haven't had one yet, but i hope i don't...hoping to catch the eggie before she even has a chance to think about visiting. lol. i personally dont see the point in waiting, other than to make the ob/midwife's life easier in finding a EDD.
I finally got out of the boat! It is worse than the 2ww, I think. With the 2ww you know how long you have to wait with the possibility of great news. With waiting for your first AF after a mc you don't know when it's going to show its ugly face. Thankfully yours should start anytime now because the wait is suppose to be no more than 6weeks. If it ends up being longer you can call your doctor and they will give you something to make you start.
I am... even though it's only been two weeks. I haven't had any testing so I don't know if my HCG is down, although I believe so because I haven't had any bleeding for a while. I think I'll get an HPT when I go out today and see if I at least get a negative there.
And yeah it sucks... at least with the 2WW you know it's not going to last indefinitely...
For me, AF showed about 3 wks after my m/c. I know its different for everyone though. If you feel worried about it, you can always talk to your doctor.
