There are a LOT of new faces here. I am so sorry you all have become a part of TTCAL, but I'm glad you made your way over here and are able to participate in the support and camaraderie shared by this group of strong, beautiful women.

I just wanted to give you guys an update.

I've been spotting/light bleeding for about 5 weeks at this point. Several days ago I called to make an appointment with an infertility specialist, and I had an appointment yesterday and today. Bloodwork showed everything within normal ranges (cholesterol, glucose, estrogen, progesterone, etc.) and my pap was normal. The doc said my FSH was a tiny little bit higher than he would have expected, but that it's nothing to worry about. I have no idea where I am in my cycle because of the bleeding, so he did bloodwork to figure that out, too, and I appear to be at a "neutral" point, meaning I haven't ovulated. An ultrasound revealed that my right ovary is abnormal (cystic), but my left one is perfectly fine. I have five follies on it right now, one bigger than the rest by a few millimeters. The big one was 8.4, and I'm not sure about the rest. He prescribed me 100mg Clomid to start taking tonight so we can hopefully 1. get me knocked up , and 2. make my body regulate itself. Once I finish the Clomid, I'll be taking Estradiol (if I remember correctly, the stuff is down in the car right now), and I go back Dec. 12 for another ultrasound of my ovaries.

I feel so blessed to have found this doctor. The fact that we're running all these tests and starting treatment immediately gives me hope. Of course my hopes are up for this cycle, but with all the bleeding that's been going on, I'm trying not to let them get the best of me. I'm just so happy to have finally found a doctor who didn't write me off because I have achieved pregnancy in the past. I want to be pregnant, dammit! And thank God I FINALLY found someone who is willing to help make it happen. Other than my husband of course
