Ok so I got my OPKs in the mail last night so me, being the POAS addict that I am decided to use one just to see if anything was happening. To my amazement I had a VERY dark line, darker than the control line. I really don't think I'm ovulating because I still haven't had a normal AF and I'm on CD45 from the date of my m/c. Looking at my chart it's pretty clear that I'm not ovulating. So what gives? I took an HPT and that's definitely negative at this point so I assumed my levels had returned to normal. Is it possible the OPK is still picking up something from the pregnancy? The thing is I am having other signs of ovulating despite the lack of a temp spike, my face is breaking out, I had cramps 2 days ago, and I feel a little nauseated.

One more thing, the emotions I had when seeing the positive OPK were so unlike the ones I had when I used them before the loss. It ranged from "MUST CATCH EGG NOW" to oh my gosh I feel so guilty for rushing this, to confused...which is where I am now because I have no idea what my body is doing.

It very well could be that your getting ready to ovulate. Your temp spike isn't until ovulation and if your OPK was positive then you should ovulate within 24-48 hours. And then your temp should spike. I would take another OPK and do so until they are negative again and if so then yep your Oing

Oh that is a good point.... it's just so much darker than the ones I had previously I'll keep watching my temp and see what happens. Now I'm torn between attempting to catch it and actually waiting a cycle like I said we would....sigh. Decisions decisions.

Oh man, our first cycle after m/c I had TONS of EWCM, I got two very clear positive OPKs but DH wanted to sit out so we did. And now this cycle is all messed up. I know what you mean about deciding one thing and seeing that line and wanting to do another. Whatever decision you two make will be the best for you. It was really hard sitting out that 1st month, but I was so over joyed when AF came.

Well as it turns out, the HPT is still reading a very faint line, so faint I didn't catch it yesterday. Today when I took another OPK I looked at the HPT from yesterday and there is still something there....ugh.

So now I'm really confused. My temp started to creep up but yesterday I started bleeding. It was a light flow but definitely more than the light pink spotting I've had here and there. Today it's gone. I think I'm going to break down and make another appt with the Dr. possibly a new doctor if I can find one.

You could also call and leave a message for your doctor and they should call you back the same day with some answers. I've had to do it in the past and most of the time they will tell you to come in the next morning.

I would make an appointment with a doctor. After a loss your cycle can be out of whack for awhile and sometimes you just need a little boost and your doctor should be able to help you with that.

Hmmmm... so you were spotting but it stopped? You think that could be the start of AF? I agree with the ladies... I would make the appt to see what you're body is trying to tell you.
GL!

Well I have an appointment at my dreaded Dr.s office tonight at 4 for a blood draw. Even the nurse seemed confused by my description. She wants to make sure there is no chance I could be PG again but I'm 99.9% sure that is not the case. This is embarassing but we have only DTD one time since the loss in October and I've been charting so I know there was no spike at that time. I'm just so frustrated with it all.

Nothing to be embarrassed about! DH and I had a hard time getting back into the "groove" after the loss, it's all of the emotions and everything that make it hard sometimes to get intimate again, that will pass eventually! I hope you get some answers!! KUP!

It is a bit weird getting back into the swing of things, especially with my mood lately it's hard to get in the mood when you are totally bummed.
