Hi There,
There are new faces here and I am saddened to see you here but I hope find this as supportive of a community on the web as I found it when I needed it.

My AF started yesterday evening so today is my Day 1 in my cycle. I have my day 3 (really day 4) bloodwork and u/s scheduled for Monday 12/5/11 at 7.15am EST at my RE office.
After that is done and when the results are in my assigned nurse will call me to let me know the results and the instructions to start my injections of Gonal-F that evening for a few days.
I will update when I can.

Yes actually I am. Not quite ready for the shots but we'll get through that with ease. I may get DH to help with administer the shots.

I don't really know anything about Gonal-F but it sounds like you have a good plan and I wish you the best of luck!!

Hi Lovisa, good luck for this next cycle Hopefully one cycle of injectibles is all you need to get your sweet rainbow baby.

After it is over can you please give me some feedback about Gonal F? I have to do them either the next cycle or the one after (depends on when AF shows up)

Cheeky_Monkey I will certainly give you feedback on the Gonal F injectible. I will start Monday.

Thanks Lovisa! Will you be taking them daily? I have to take the 75IU daily from cd 3 to cd 11 for sure (when I have to go for the follie check and then we'll move from there).

Do you have the pen in the US for the Gonal F? Here we have the single cartidges only

cheeky_monkey - no pen but I have a multidose vial and syringes with thin needles to pull out the 75IU that I need to take. Most likely the same amount of days until I am told to use the trigger shot that makes the egg release and ovulation start.
I think the trigger shot is called Evidrel (something like that anyway). After that I will take progesterone pills to thicken my lining. But also the IUI is happening close to the trigger shot.

Oh! Apparentlly there are no multidose vials over here. Only the 75IU vials. I think it's Ovidrel. Two friends of mine have used it. Usually I get the Pregnyl shot.

My OB doesn't want to do IUI He said that whenever he did it it never except for once so he gave up on it Have to rely only on Gonal F and Pregnyl.

Good luck for this cycle xxx
