In response to Katie's responses...
1. The only thing I've read about the being more fertile is that it's because your progesterone can still be high, but I thought it was only the first cycle after miscarriage. I don't really know any medical facts though. I would ask the OB next time you talk to him/her.
2. OPKs test for the luteinizing hormone (LH)only, they should not react to human chorionic gonadotropin (hcg). If they do, it's a faulty test.
