I'm not sure if you ladies remember but almost a year and a half ago DH contact Lyme's Disease. He is in "remission" from it now but it was horrible for about 3-4 months. Last night we found a tick embedded in him and this morning he has the "bulls-eye". He is going to the doctor first thing this morning when they open at 9 but this is going to suck if he has it again. The last time we racked up the medical bills and we still owe on them... add some more stress to my life like I don't have enough already Sorry just needed to talk about it and get it off my chest. I didn't sleep at all last night. I just really hope we caught this early enough that it doesn't end up like last time. It is so hard watching him in so much pain and not being able to do much to help him.

UPDATE: Just got the call. They are starting him back on his anti-biotic for 2 months and they think that we caught this pretty early. So I guess we just have to wait and see. Thanks for the support ladies!

UGH! I am sorry you have to go through that again. Sounds like you may have caught it early enough though! Fingers crossed for both of you! My cousin's wife is in "remission" from it too, she had a rough time with it as well. I really hope you don't have to go through that again!!

Thanks ladies! I'm at work so I'm waiting for him to call me. He went to the doctors at 9 when they opened. Ticks are very common here. And he is a Natural Resources Technician so he is in the woods 24/7 and every night when he comes home he lets his clothes outside and then I have to check him head to toe to make sure he doesn't have any on him. Most of the time it's they aren't latched on but sometimes they get latched on and it's hard to get them off.

I am sorry you are going through this again. I hope you caught it early. We have been having the same problems here. I have to check Dh every night after he comes home since he is out hunting all day long.
